I am the Angel of your desire, burning in the night.
I'm the pyre, I'm the fyre, come to set your light.
I am the one.
I am the one from the darkside of your dreams.
I am the one who hears your screams.
I am the one.
Rest now my love, let the light slip away.
I shall return on the darkening of the day.
I am the one.

Mondnacht
Es war, alls hätt' der Himmel
Die Erde still geküßt,
Daß sie in Blütenschimmer
Von ihm nun träumen müßt'.
Die Luft ging durch die Felder,
Die Ähren wogten sacht,
Es rauschten leis die Wälder,
So sternklar war die Nacht.
Und meine Seele spannte
Weit ihre Flügel aus,
Flog durch die stillen Lande,
Als flöge sie nach Haus.
- Joseph von Eichendorff (1788 - 1857)
"I who am the beauty of the green earth, and the white moon among the stars, From Me all things proceed, and unto Me all things must return; and before My face,
-- from Doreen Valiente's Charge of the Goddess
and the mystery of the waters, call unto thy soul: Arise, and come unto me.
For I am the soul of nature, who gives life to the universe.
beloved of gods and of men, let thine innermost divine self be enfolded in the rapture
of the infinite. Let My worship be within the heart that rejoices; for behold, all acts of
love and pleasure are My rituals. And therefore let there be beauty and strength,
power and compassion, honor and humility, mirth and reverence within you.
And thou who thinkest to seek Me, know that thy seeking and yearning shall avail thee not
unless thou knowest the Mystery: that if that which thou seekest thou findest not
within thee, thou wilt never find it without. For behold, I have been with thee from the
beginning; and I am that which is attained at the end of desire."

One dark night in broad daylight
two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back they faced one and other
drew their swords and shot each other.
Two deaf policemen heard the noise
and came and shot the two dead boys.
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be (possibly your roommate, neighbor, professor, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger), but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some
profound way. And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
It is not doing the thing we like to do, but liking the

-Dr. Elasabeth Kubler-Ross
Men do not care how nobly they live, but only how long,
although it is within the reach of every man to live nobly,
but within no man's power to live long.
-Seneca
To awaken each morning with a smile...; to greet the day
with reverence for the opportunity it contains; to approach
my work with a clean mind; to hold ever before me, even in
the doing of little things, the Ultimate Purpose toward
which I am working; to meet men and women with laughter on
my lips and love in my heart; to be gentle, kind and
courteous through all the hours; to approach the night
with... the joy that comes from work well done - this is
how I desire to waste wisely my days.
-Thomas Dekke
Your life will be no better than the plans you make, and
the action you take. You are the architect and builder of
your own life, fortune, destiny.
-Alfred Armand Montapert
The probability that we may fail in the struggle ought not
to deter us from the support of a cause we believe to be just.
-Abraham Lincoln

Do more than touch - feel
Do more than look - observe
Do more than hear - listen
Do more than listen - understand
Do more than think - ponder
Do more than talk - say something
-John H. Rhoades
Unless each day can be looked back upon by an individual as
one in which he has had some fun, some joy, some real
satisfaction, that day is a loss.

believe, and enthusiastically act upon...must inevitably
