A solar deity, Empyrean is nominally only a part of the pantheon. But according to a powerful religious sect, the Golden Throne, Empyrean is the sole god of the empire and all others are but exarchs of him. In the mainstream view, Empyrean is the god of the sun, light, purification and repose in death. Priests of Empyrean have a great hatred of the undead.

Gwyneth is the goddess who founded the first city, Palarnath, and gave the first set of laws to the sidha'im on the isle of Avanidha. She placed the dragons under the isle, and passed the judgment banishing Ammon, and also the one leading to the shattering of the world, an act for which the goddess mourns forever. It is for this reason she is sometimes referred to as the Lady of Tears.

Priestly Garb: Any

Generally supposed to be the wife and companion of Empyrean, this goddess represents mercy and faith, and is held to be the epitome of a wife. However, Miranda in legendry is also prone to fits of temper, as it was her who committed the first (and only) deicide. There exists a sect called the Hungering Moon, who play up the negative aspects of Miranda.
