Filming:
First Day-Just us messing around for the first time. Fighting with the swords and sabers outside in my yard. Then we went to the mall and filmed some fighting on top of the parking garage.

Quest for the Penari Saber
This movie is a Martix/Starwars/LORT type movie. The movie is based around swordfighting and sunts. There are basiclly 4 main people currently working on the movie. All of the DFF members are helping on the movie. These are
Chris Counts - Lead Camera Man/Actor (Drake)
Chris Petts - Director/Co Camera Man/Actor (Jaden)
Josh Canterbury - Actor (Vega)
Jake - Actor (Brian)
Kevin - Actor/Somebody (Drake's Father)

Here are the Plot Summarys
Jaden's Summary
All his life Jaden the Black has been searching for the ancient weapon, the Penari Saber. In old stories, it was said that the saber was too powerful to wield and that the Penarian King had it destroyed, but it was only stories. Jaden has learned that the Penari Saber is still out there, hidden away. He has promised to his people, the Penarians, that if he finds the powerful weapon he will rid the world of evil. However, he is not the only person searching for the Penari Saber. Dark Lord Vega, leader of the Vegan Empire, has sent his men to find the weapon and bring it to him. God only knows what Vega would do with the weapon if he got his hands on it. Will Jaden find the ancient weapon or will Vega? Only time will tell.
Drake's Summary
The following contain spoilers:
Drake was always a happy kid and he had everything a boy could want. He had the best family in the world; his father worked for InterCorp (Another name for Vega's Empire), an organization that develops weapons and replication machinery. Drake's mother was a homemaker and he had one brother, who was a little older than him. One evening, Drake's father didn't come home from work and that night there was a knock at the door. His mother opened the door and three men with black jackets were standing there. They took the family hostage and told them that their father is dead because he betrayed their leader, Dark Lord Vega and now they are going to die one-by-one. They kill Drake's mother and brother, but out of nowhere Jaden the Black shows up and dispatches the men. Drake is deeply saddened and knows there is nothing here for him. He becomes Jaden's apprentice and goes on the quest for the Penari Saber. Will he help Jaden succeed in finding the ancient weapon? Find out later this year when Quest for the Penari Saber comes out.
More soon! But the moive has been put on hold. We want to film some shorts first.
