At a Quaker wedding, a wedding certificate with one's vows and information about the marriage is created, which is signed during the ceremony by the bridal couple. All witnesses at the wedding sign the certificate, which is then framed and hung in the couple's home. I went nearly insane doing the calligraphy myself.
