"Oh! So sorry, human," the now-visible hippocampus mare says. "I'm Zaani'zdinn, or Smoky Snow, second gaurdian of the river-waters."
She tosses her teal mane.
"My original owner, Wren, wasn't able to post me, so Jessica re-adopted me from Raveness," Zaani'zdinn says. "I will be your guide along Sweetwater River."
"Sweetwater River is home to all sorts of life. The river originates from the mountains far upstream, but it drains into the sea. It also supplies the Lake of Dreams."
As you listen to Zaani'zdinn, a purple unicorn drinks from the river furhter down. She looks up, startled, and runs into the shadows.
"That's Lavender Lillies," Zaani'zdinn says. "She's really skittish and a bit afraid of strangers. If you follow her, she may liead you to her home realm."
An appaloosa mare of some sort comes up behind you and sniffs you for treats.
That's Misted Stardust, a Daeross," Zaani'zdinn says. "She was a gift from Cynther. She's quite friendly, loves my and Lillies' company, if you follow her she will show you her home realm as well."
