The Rules for Adopting a DragonRose Dragon
If you've ever adopted a Cyber pet before, then you know most of these rules. But PLEASE read these just in case there is something in here you might NOT know. This tells you EXACTLY what you MUST have on your Webpage, WHEN you must have it on your webpage, and everything else you need to do in order to get a DragonRose Dragon. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW ALL OF THESE RULES, THEN YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A DRAGON! Thank you! There aren't very many of them, but they are all very important! I have ways of knowing if you haven't read these!
1.) YOU MUST. I repeat, and cannot stress this enough... YOU MUST HAVE A WEBPAGE. Without a webpage, you can't get a dragon. These are Cyber Dragons, and thus they must live in Cyber Space. They must have a home to call their own... I don't want them floating out in the cyber world without a place to lay their heads at night.
2.) YOU MUST HAVE AN EMAIL THAT CAN RECEIVE .GIF ATTACHMENTS. If you can magically make a .bmp transparent I want to know about it. Any otherwise, I Will NOT send to anyone with a Hotmail account. If this is the Email you have, then get a different one before you adopt from me. NOTE: People who have already adopted from me do NOT have to change their emails. Obviously if you are receiving your updates every couple of weeks correctly, then you don't have a problem. This message is ONLY for New Users.
3.) YOU MUST HAVE A WEBPAGE ALREADY BUILT FOR YOUR DRAGON! I'm not going to accept "I'll build it tomorrow" from you anymore. The page MUST be up by the time that I get your Form, or you will NOT get a Dragon! The page must ALSO go along with my Expectations!. If it doesn't, you won't get a dragon. Period.
4.) I'm also sick of having to search for your dragons on pages that have twenty other adoptions on them. From now on, your Dragon MUST have it's OWN page. It's allowed to have companions, guardians, and friends... but the PAGE must be ONLY for your DragonRose Dragon. Also: NO NEOPETS pages, and NO CLUBS. Those are the easiest ways to turn my art into Clip art.. and I don't appriciate that. NOTE: those who have already adopted dragons do not have to rebuild their webpages... however.. if you adopt any NEW dragons, this rule must be observed.
5.) You need to put the word "Puffs" in the "Comments" part of the adoption form. If you do not put this word in there, I will know that you have not read the rules, and I will thus not give you a dragon.... it's as easy as that. You must put this word in the comment box EVERY time you adopt. This word WILL change every once in a while, so make sure that you check these rules for the new word every time you adopt. Also.. make sure that you read any new rules I might have added while you are looking for this word.
6.) You MUST put a link on your page linking back to me. I have created Banners for this purpose, but they are not required. A simple text link will do. If you don't know how to do this, I CAN help. Just give me an Email, and I'll see what I can do. I am willing to give a small amount of HTML help, but I don't have time to teach you how to build your webpage. I've been doing this for 6 years now, and I still don't know everything there is to know about building pages.
7.) You MUST have your Dragon ON YOUR PAGE within ONE (1) Week of receiving it in your email! If it is NOT on your page within TWO (2) Weeks, It will be abandoned, and your ability to adopt Cyber Creatures will be questioned. If you abandon a Dragon more than ONCE (2 times), you will be added to our "Banned" list, and will never be allowed to adopt from us again.
8.) You Are only allowed to adopt ONE DRAGON at a time! This does not mean that you can only adopt One Dragon, this means that you can only have one GROWING Dragon on your page at a time. I used to have this rule set so that you could adopt a new dragons every time that your old one hatched. NO LONGER! Your Dragon MUST be an ADULT BEFORE YOU CAN ADOPT ANOTHER ONE! This applies to ALL Current and New Adoptions!
9.) You MUST put the Dragon's Statistics on your page. (ie: Name, Breed, Gender, etc). If you do not do this, how will you remember it's name or gender, and how will Other people know what kind of a Dragon it is if they can't find that information on your page?
10.) YOU MAY NOT CHANGE MY DRAGONS OR ANY OF MY OTHER GRAPHICS IN ANY WAY! These Dragons are Copyrighted by ME, Created by ME, and Colored be ME. They are my own Personal design, I have the original Hand Drawn versions of them, and they have very noticable Characteristics. They also have a "transparent" background, and if you try to muck with them, you may just mess them and the background up. I don't like having deformed Dragons.
11.) Adding to Rule #10, DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE FORMAT. (ie. .gif, .jpg, .bmp, ect). These Graphics are .Gifs for a reason! If you change the format you may mess up their colors, as well as the fact that the transparent background will no longer work! If your webpage does not accept .gifs, then we will talk, but any otherwise.. do NOT change it!
12.) THESE DRAGONS ARE NOT FOR RE-ADOPTION, CLIPART PAGES, OR GRAPHIC DIRECTORIES!!!!!!!!!!!! If you find one of my dragons on a page that is NOT a part of DragonRose, PLEASE TELL ME! DragonRose is the ONLY Agency that is allowed to give these Creatures out, unless *I* specifically give them permission.

13.) YOU MAY NOT STEAL GRAPHICS OFF OF ANOTHER ADOPTER'S PAGE! If I find out that you have stolen graphics from another persons page, I WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR DRAGON. If another person's Webpage is not safe from you, how can I be sure that My Dragons are? I'm sorry to add in this rule, but I've had a recent problem with it, and I don't appreciate it.
