Rangers




Rangers are skilled with all simple and martial weapons, sheilds, and all armor that doesnt impose a speed loss of -2 or greater. Rangers gain 8 hp at level up.

Class Features




Spells- Beginning at 4th level, a ranger gains the ability to cast a small number of cleric spells, when he reaches level 4 he picks 4 cleric spells to use, after that each spell costs 75gp times the level of the spell

Favored Enemy- at 1st level, a ranger may select a type of creature as a favored enemy, due to his skill at fighting creatures of that type he gains a +1 to attack and damage vs. that type of creature every 5 levels he gains a new favored enemy and every previous favored enemy gains an additional +1 to the attack and damage bonus

a character may not choose his own race as a favored enemy unless he is evil

Two Weapon Fighting- A ranger who wears armor that inflicts no movement penalty may fight with two weapons, he loses this ability when using a double bladed weapon or when wearing any armor that causes a movement penalty, when fighting with two weapons he may make two attacks per attack granted using the same bonus, example if a ranger could attack once with a +6 and once with a +1, the ranger could make two attacks at +6 and two attacks with +1 when using those weapons, doesnt allow two other actions only attacking with those weapons, cannot be used with any other abilities.
