Prayer

This is a - for me - very different page.
I am not a believer, not a religious person.
But in a late eveninghour this came to me - all wrapped up and ready to go onto thhe paper.
Some would say
"It came as a revelation"....

I belive in God
Who didnt create the world as an absolute, finite
a thing to always remain as it is today
Whos doesnt rule this world by eternal laws
whos values never change
not in a natural structure of
rich and poor
knowing and unknowing
rulers and supressed

I belive in God
Who wants the objection of everything alive
and change of all conditions
by our work
our politics

I belive in Jesus Christ
who was right when He
exactly like we
worked to change all things
and perished hereby

In the light of Him I realize
how our inteligence is crippeled
our fantasy smothered
our work for nothing
because we dont live like He did

And every day I fear
that He died in vane
because He is burried in our churches
because we betrayed His revolution
in fear of earthly authorities

I belive in Jesus Christ
who will be resurrected in our lives
so we can be freed
from predjudism and arrogance
from fear and hatered
and carry on His revolution
towards His kingdom

I belive in the Spirit
that came into this world with Jesus
in the unity of all people
and our respnsability
to whats to happen with this planet
a darkened valley of pain, hunger and violence
or the city of God

I belive in the just peace
that can be created
and in the possibility of a fullfilled life for all
human beings
I belive in the future of this world
Amen
