'Flin" was a very consistent winner both in New Zealand and Australia where he distinguished himself by winning Best in Show at the prestigious Victorian Shih Tzu Club and repeating this feat the following year at the NSW Shih Tzu Club.

Flin was Best of Breed numerous times at the New Zealand National Dog Show and when he retired in 1990 he had amassed well over 100 challenges.

Flin was a fabulous showman and loved nothing more than to be in the ring.
