1/ Genetically, the Kangeroo is closer to human than to the platupus. (despite both being marsupials, while man is not.)

2/ a group of Neanderthals made their way to Australia, before CroMagnon spread to the rest of the world. Neanderthals eventually died out, everywhere except Australia.

Real Odd News :
A local weather forcaster has predicted a Major Earthquake for this Sunday! Using the moon, they say that there is a very strong likelyhood of a big quake Sat 18, Mon 19, or Tues 20, in NZ or the bottom of South America. (More likely Tuesday)
I guess we will have to wait and see.

An experiment in the International Space Station has shown that single cells without gravity, try to reproduce the original tissue or organ they were removed from.

I have Updated my previous 4 schemes. "Copperskins (Cream & Chocolate)", "CopperPeaked", and "Brass&Copper". I have also completed 4 new schemes, "DT•Pounamu", "DT•Heart", "DT•Pukeko", and "DT•Pukeko'n'Beak". Pounamu is Green, Heart is red, and both Pukekos are Iridecent Blue.
