Prof. Carl Clauberg
Professor Carl Clauberg performed sterilization experiments at both Auschwitz and Ravenbruck. This was done on Hitler's initiave as he was told that sterilization could be a powerful weapon to be used against Germany's enemies. Clauberg injected chemical substances into pregnant women's wombs, killing the baby and sterilizing the woman. Thousands of Jewish and Gypsy women were subject to these experiments.

Clauberg concluded that to sterilize 1000 women, it would take a staff of one doctor and ten assistants only one day, using their current methods.
