Summary:
Watchers is a virtual series spin-off of Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. It picks up where Season 7 of BTVS left off. Willow and Faith and Giles move to Cleveland, where they know another hellmouth is located, and start a new version of the Watchers Council. Buffy goes into a much-deserved retirement and is only an occasional guest star. Watchers is currently in its third season. Watchers is a weekly series and airs about 24 episodes each season.
Watchers: Restoration is a virtual series spin-off of the original Watchers. Watchers: Restoration is based on the Season 1 episode of Watchers entitled "Restoration," which introduced the Watchers Council of the year 2130. The main characters of Restoration are Sebastian Giles (a descendant of Rupert Giles), Jocasta Rosenberg (the great, great, great granddaughter of Willow Rosenberg and the reincarnation of Willow herself), and Katherine Allison (the reincarnation of Tara Maclay). Restoration is currently in its second season. It used to be a monthly series, airing 9 episodes each season. This season, Restoration will change its format to four "movies-of-the-week" that air sporadically throughout the year.
I have written two episodes of Watchers (one for Season 2 and one for Season 3) and eight episodes of Restoration (five for Season 1, three for Season 2). Backstory and episode recaps are available at the web sites given above.
