Desecration of the Heart and Soul (Banishment of Love), by Drake

Written ~January 1999

Venus, thy beauty beckons me
The seduction of thy sweet perfume
In the warm embrace of thy kisses
I lose myself to you

I taste the warm lust of Aphrodite
Her angelic touch blinds Reality
Her kind words are as carresses
I heed well to Her sweet message

This dream haunts my sleep, horrid torment
I toss and turn but it will not relent
Broken-hearted I wake to this world
And to my horror-filled eyes, truth is unfurled

The rape of virtue, perversion of love
Crushed under the foot of the One from above
The sweet touch of her angelic breath
Is raped into a sick form of perverse death
If only I could hear once more Venus's song
Oh Aphrodite, why has it gone so wrong?

Oh woman, I worship thee
Thou art the other half of me
Thy beauty is without compare
We kiss as we float into the air
Away from Earth
Into Heaven

The corrupt Earth, full of rot
Woman's virtue raped, tied in a knot
I cannot breathe with man's horrid stench
I only ask some day I can have revenge...

Love cannot be touched...
