Truth Awakened

The entire world is a mirror
Reflecting the lie that is my life
Truth buried deep beneath a million years
I'm cursed to dread the endless night

We struggle to rise atop the ruined Land
Blood spilled worthlessly
An ambition grotesque and blasphemous

Worshipping idols and gods
Despising what we are not
Bowing to formality
Or rebelling against normallity

I dived into the black abyss
When I felt the touch of her sweet kiss
Mother of the Land of old
Of which ancient stories told
A Land unscathed by ambitious feet
A Land beautiful as Night's black peace

In her warm embrace
I found the place
Where no man had dared set foot
In fear of discovering the truth

Now I am free and my mind wanders
Through this beautiful Land

I have learned
Pain is Passion
Night is Peace
Sorrow is Pleasure
Death is Paradise

....Now I fear nothing
