Horror Night : the project

   During the school year 2000-2001 we had planned to give three performances of two famous musicals in English, gathered under the concept of a "Horror Night".

  The first one, Little Shop of Horrors, is a fantastic musical which tells the story of a shy young man, Seymour, who is led to killing to feed a weird plant, in order to make his beautiful colleague love him. In spite of this very morbid scenario, it is a very funny play, adapted from a 1950's movie. The play gathered 16 actors.

   The second play is the very famous and debated Rocky Horror Show, adapted from the 1976 movie. The story is about a young square couple, Brad and Janet, who find themselves in a castle haunted by a bunch of very weird creatures (so to speak). Their hosts are going to make Brad and Janet live unforgettable experiences. This musical breaks every taboo and is highlighted by a  number of great songs. The project gathered 23 actors.

The performances took place on the 14th, 15th and 16th of May 2001 at the Théâtre Monte-Charge in Pau.
