Loves Laughter

i overheard love
laughing in your bedroom.
it was good to hear love
laughing somewhere...
but then i felt alone.
so i turned on the f.m.
to fill up
the bedroom that i was
sharing with no one.
a room with sound
is somewhat not as
large and lonely
and it takes away it's empty chill
but
while loves' laughter
warms the other bedroom,
i wonder if
that is what i'm after ?
or could it be just the laughter ??
