Character Guidelines
When you wish to create a character their are a view things you have to keep in mind. Please read this carefully so i won't have to force you to change anything to your character.
Magic
Magic that is allowed with the catriders, animal bonding and sending are given:

- plant-shaping (2)
- shielding (2)
- song-shaping (3)
- astral projection (1)
- healing (1)
- magic feeling (2)
Magic that is allowed with the gliders: Sending, gliding is and average magic feeling are given. Well basicly any magic is allowed among them, i even allow you to make up magic. There's one rule though, no super elves. (unlimited)
Magic that is allowed with the nomads: Sending is given
- slight healing (1)
- rock shaping (3)
- gem-shaping (1, you also posses normal rock-shaping abbilities)
- magic-feeling (1)
- song-shaping (3)
- dream-reading (1)
Magic that is allowed with the wavedancers: Sending, magic feeling and slight water-shaping is given.

Note: if you want magic that isen't listed at the tribe but you think is resonable to put up with it, you may try it, but no guaranties. I won't allow any super elves. Behind the magic abillitie will be a number, that's the number of how many i will allow to have that kind of magic.
Tribe Positions
Behind the available positions is a number, that’s how many elves can have that position per tribe. Sometimes the Tribal Duty won’t be available in some of the tribes if so, i will say it. - herbal healer (1)
- tanner (1)
- cub sitter (2, gliders have no cub sitters)
- keeper of the way (basicly unlimited)
- story teller (2)
- chief/chieftess (1 when lifemated to chief (tess) one atimaticly becomes chief(tess), chief gliders taken, chieftess and chief (adoptable) nomads taken)
- hunter/huntress (unlimited)
- midwife (1, the gliders have no midwifes)
- hunt leader (1)
- cub (unlimmeted, very rare with gliders though)
- advisor (2, must be at least 500+ for this)
- guard (4)
- tracker (1)
- cook (1, nomads and catriders have no cooks)
- magic user (depends on how many magic users there are, see the magic section for more details about that)
- gatherer (unlimited)
- raindeer trainer (2, only available when your a Nomad)
Physical Appearance
- The catriders live in the jungle and they must be comouflaged, so no bright red colors etc. Also they are small, think wolfridersize, they would be pale-skinned, because they live at night.
- The Nomads live in a cold area all the time, meaning they can't were summer clothes. Most of the nomads would have a slight tan, allthough it's could there is sun, they are small (wolfrider size)
- With the wavedancers you can choose wether they have guils, fins, tails, webbed fingers etc. Be creative. They are pale skinned, also they are tall (human size)
- The gliders are tall (human size) they have a tan complexion (none of there are pale skinned), blond hair is extremly rare with them and i will alow only one glider to have blond hair.
Family, love/life mates and recognition
- Gliders, catriders and nomads recognize, they will only have kids when they recognize or when they have the help of a healer. When you recognize you will have a child. Wavedancers don't recognize anymore, they live a dangerous live and they can't wait till recognition to happen. Wavedancers don't have soulnames, nor have they soul brothers and sisters. Recognition with Gliders is very rare, latest recognition was a hundred turns ago. Recognition with Catriders occurs often, they can even recognize a view times with different persons. A Catrider has never recognized more then 4 times though.
- For family (sibs, aunts, uncle, parents, kids etc.) please look between the other chars. Otherwise we have tons of loose families.
- If family is missing or deceased, please write about that in your personal history.
- Catriders almost always have siblings, with Wavedancers it isen't uncomen, but with the gliders and nomads it's very rare for they moslty only recognize one time.
- Twins are very rare with all tribes,i will alowe one or two twins in the whole world of Dran and you have to earn this right by showing avid participation.
- Elves always know who their parents and siblings are, so no 'unknown' please.
Age
- Gliders and wavedancers are immortal, they won’t die of old age. Nomads and Catriders are mortal. The oldest Catrider that has lived was Sniffle, he was 3783 years old when he died, but that’s very rare. The oldest Nomad was Grendor, she was 3654 years old when he died. The youngest glider at the moment is a 100 years old.
- this is what you will be called at your age at the Nomads and Catriders:
- 0-20 turns old= child
- 21-100 turns old= youth
- 101-600 turns old=adult
- 601-2000 turns old=elder
- 2001 turns old and older=mother or father of memories (very rare)
- this is what you are called at your age when your a glider or wavedander:
- 0-50 turns old=child
- 51-250 turns old=youth
- 251-2000 turns old=adult
- 2001-40.000 turns old=elder
- 40.001 turns old and counting=mother or father of memories (hasn’t occured yet)
Names
There are also some name guides. Nothing big really so don’t worry. The only thing is dat Gliders always have names that just consists of out of sounds. So that would be something like Grendor, Melain, etc. Catriders most of the time have names that are made out of a view other (allready existing words) like Sniffle, Shadeseeker etc. It mostly has something to do with the characters personality, looks, hobbies etc. A Catrider can also have a 'sound name', but it's not very common. Nomads and Wavedancers can have 'soundnames' and 'wordnames'. If you have a hard time thinking of a name here are some you could use:

Absolutly not allowed
- No wanderers what so ever, their are only four tribes on this planet and no extinguished tribes has been encounted for so no "i'm the only survivor" elf, elfs are loyal to their holt and they don't leave just to search for adventure.
- Maybe someday in the future i will alowe ONE crossbreed for someone who has participated so extremly well he deserved something special, but as of know NO crossbreeds.
