Now on to what to do next. You've just created your character and you have no idea what to do. First things first press the F1 key on your key board. There is an immense amount of information there for controlling your character. To start off with explore the town itself that you start in. Speak with the NPC's by double clicking them, go into some of the buildings, and talk to some of the other players. Once you have a good understanding of how to control your character then set out just around the outside of town and explore there, try to stay close to town until you get familiar with fighting and what ever trade skill you may be using. This will help keep you from becoming too frustrated by not knowing where you are and by finding creatures that you cannot defend against. Once you're confident with this, then explore out a little further. Ideally you should try to get a group of people together to go out with as there is safety in numbers. When you first start out, you should take everything that you mine/lumberjack/all items from a kill even if they seem worthless to you, they are sellable at shops and will help you make more money. Take it all, don't think that a bat that drops 1 gold and a bats ear has not helped you because that bats ear is worth more gold at the mage shop.
