DR. AXEL QUINN WARD

Introduction

When I was younger, I always wished I could leave my neighborhood and go to see something new and exciting. It never really seemed to matter what I was looking at, it just always excited me because it was something different that I may have never seen or learned about because I chose to take the easy way out, and stay back in the neighborhood, where it was comfortable, where people knew me. I have been given the awesome responsibility and power to lead your mind on an adventure through the Internet, to a new and exciting destination, a trip never taken due to lack of time or money, a WebQuest.

This year in our classes, we traveled to the American Museum of Natural History. We saw many different species of dinosaur bones, the difference, and similarities between early human ancestors, Asian and African elephants, the black vs. white rhinos. I believe that if we would have learned about these things in a book, you might not have seen the difference in size or shape that your eye clearly gives you in person.

Your adventure is to go to a museum somewhere in the world, outside of NYC, someplace you can’t get to too easily due to distance, money, and/or time issues. Go online and search for museums that may interest you from around the world.

www.museumspot.com and www.museumstuff.com are two places you could begin. Check out their Internet exhibits, e-mail me with any of your favorites, I’d love to hear from you, have fun and good luck.

Peace, Love and Happiness,

Dr. Axel Q. Ward, D.C.
