Privacy Policy
Drayn Combat includes its members area, a section that includes
accounts, shops, battle transcripts and so on. We also collect a
limited amount of personal information from our members.
Due to the lack of a CGI-Bin on our current servers, there is
nothing to be gained by stealing the password of a player as no
posting of any kind takes place in the member's area.
Due to our primitive system of password access, we cannot
guarantee that passwords will remain safe in transit. Please, as
advised on the message received requesting a password, use a
different password than the one you use for email and other
activities.
This privacy policy does not apply to those who sign up against
local laws as detailed in the disclaimer.
We of Drayn Combat can assure that any personal information sent
to us for joining the game will remain strictly confidential within
the full and total extent of our ability. Any information placed in a
public post is, of course, visible to all members: be warned. If
anyone uses a pseudonym in place of their real name, they will be
known - legally or otherwise - as such throughout their time here
unless they freely give out their name. In this way, no player or
moderator will reveal their true identity unless it is their own
decision to do so. Never will a moderator release the name of a
player and any reference to a pseudonym is considered reference to
the player or moderator themselves.
References to real names, as well as URLs and potentially
trademarked products are edited out of transcripts, regardless of
players' wishes.
This policy was last modified Wednesday October 29th, 2003 Anno
Domini by the moderator known under the pseudonym of Timberwulf.
