Statistics
Prepare to be mind boggled. There are three
classes of stats that are divided into many, many subcategories -
some of which have subcategories. We organize these stats using a
computer program, so not even we have your personal stats
memorized.
Skills
Skills represent how good a player is at
certain things, as well as whole-body abilities. This stat covers the
large-digit stats that start pre-trained: Weapon Skill, Strength,
Grieve, etc. There are both main stats and subcategories when
it comes to Skill. For example, there is Weapon Skill and its Sword
Skill subcategory. Etc. An addition or subtraction to a main stat
means an addition or subtraction to its sub-stats, too.
Physical
Complements to Konami's excellent Hybrid
Heaven for inspiring this stat. This represents the ability of a
bodypart to cause damage when it itself is used in combat or to
absorb physical damage. Most species have 7 Physical areas: Head,
Body (Front), Body (Back), Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg, Right Leg.
Other species have a Tail and/or Left and Right Wings as well.
Elementals and Nicros have only a single body part for these
purposes.
Experience
Thanks again to Hybrid Heaven. Whenever a
character uses a spell or technique, over time they will become
better at it. This is recorded as Experience in a Technique or Spell.
The effect of experience differs from spell to spell and technique to
technique, but normally damage caused or odds of success (etc)
increase.
Fame
Fame is not really a stat, per se, but is a
number the GMs change behind your back, showing how popular you are
with the people who watch these fights and especially with your
superiors. Public fights are more likely to raise fame than private
ones. You will not be told when your fame rises.
Maintaining Stats
One day, if we add jobs outside of Military
and Advanced Studies, we may add rules about maintaining your stats
outside of an athletic environment. Just warning you.

Detail
Standard Statistics are the starting statistics for all players,
except pure Arnon. Each race has a special set of changes to these
stats to create their own stats.
Weaponskill - Skill with a melee weapon, normally for hitting and
parrying.
Unarmed Skill - Grey Drazon have a number for Unarmed
Skill, but for all other beings, Unarmed Skill is always equal to
Weaponskill. All beings, including Grey Drazon, train Unarmed
Skill by training Weaponskill.
Ballistic Skill - Skill with a missile weapon.
Technique - Skill with physical techniques.
Resistances - Resistance to elements.
Strength - Used to calculate damage or the ability to accomplish
something involving strength
Toughness - Determines physical damage reductions.
Constitution
Health - Determines Hit Points (Hit Points = Const * 80).
Stamina - Decreases as arduous actions occur, such as Flight
and Running.
Intelligence
IQ - Used in Missions and for NPCs, but in Duels is is
most often used for Holographics creating technical things.
Creativity - Used for Improvisation of Spells, etc.
Speed of Thought - Most often used as reaction time and for the
speed at which spells are cast.
Speed
Agility - Physical Speed.
Dexterity - Detailed Speed.
Movement - Speed on feet / wings.
Grieve - Basic Magic, consists of Experience and Study.
Elixi - Healing Magic, consists of Experience and Study.
Daemonics - Advanced Magic, consists of Experience and Study.
Element Masteries - The character currently can learn and cast
spells using these elements.
Will - Will is equal to a formula that uses the three Intelligence
skills. If a person's Strength of Will (both their Prime and possible
Minor Race's) is high, their Will will likewise be high. To be
precise, Will of a Pure Racer (or a Mixed-Racer whose Strength of
Will is the same for both races) is equal to 60% of Strength of Will
+ 20% of remaining Intelligence stats. In a Mixed Racer, it is equal
to 35% for the Prime Race + 35% for the Minor Race + 30% for the
remaining stat.
Grieve Colour - Grieve spells are a different colour when cast by
a different person. This colour never changes. It can help you
identify spell casters and is important to Sealtions.
Standard
Statistics
Standard Statistics (denotes an 'Average' stat line for a being
who has studied and trained according to 'average' guidelines).
Starting stats for specific races are based on these.
The important thing to remember is that this bar represents a
moderate being. Most races will have starting stats differing from
this listed in their information below. If a modification subtracts
or adds to a Header (ie: Weapon Skill), all categories under that
header get the bonus/lose the penalty. But if it points to a specific
category (ie: IQ), only that skill gains/suffers.
