Interview with Dr. C and the Predicates
Tell us about your current tour.
Max: We've already completed several dates in North America, Europe,
East Asia, and Australia.
Neil: It's gone over fine so far, we've sold out a few shows, which isn't
bad for our first ever world tour.
Ted: The fans are really appreciative, and we want to keep them happy
whenever they go to a Dr. C and the Predicates show.
Any plans to go back on the road?
Darren: We're heading back on the road, here's our upcoming schedule:
(see Tour Schedule page)
After that, we don't know yet.
Sounds like you'll have a hectic schedule ahead of you.
Max: Damn straight we are, and proud of it!
Any plans for a new single?
Neil: We've got the track "Jump Over The Moon" on radio now, so keep
requesting it on your local radio stations!
Ted: We're recording our new album on this upcoming tour leg, so you
may hear some new tracks if you catch us live!
Darren: And we've got an upcoming collaboration, that just might be our
next single?
Can you reveal who it is?
Max: If I told you now, I'd have to kill you
Ted: I will say one thing... this artist is one of our personal favourites.
Neil: And she may have already put our song on the release schedule...
only we don't know it yet?
Max: Don't tell the fans anything else, we'll keep them teased for now!
Okay, let's move on. What's your opinion on DJ Double Garage?
Max: Sure we were mad at him when he stole our demo tapes, but we surely
can't deny he's a talented producer.
Neil: He's going to be doing some remixes with us possibly for our next
single.
And what about Erik - your rhythm guitarist? Why hasn't he been on the
past few tour dates?
Ted: I think he missed our latest flight out of Australia after the holiday
break... who knows where he's off to?
Max: Who really cares, anyway?
Ouch - that was harsh! Any plans on replacing him?
Darren: Not really - we're fine as a foursome!
Any upcoming single releases you're looking forward to?
Max: The song we're really antipating right now is the Emma Button and
Sophie Ellis-Beckham collaboration, "Too Many Connections".
Ted: Yeah, I love the video to that! Also, Alicia and Boogie2Nite's new
song is off da chain!
Neil: What about Shane Elton? I think he's got a cool song out there!
Darren: I love the new Innocent song! Also, Auntie FannyFlap; my parents
grew up on the original version of her song... and this new spin she put
on it is great!
Max: Kandi's "Milkshake" really gets me bumping as I'm driving around!
Gotta love the Joshua Williams track as well!
Ted: Sophie Ramone's new one, "Touch Of My Hand" is quite impressive!
I'm also interested in the new Britney Aguilera and Mars/Venus team-up!
Neil: Of course, there are new singles from Tasha, Alesha Grafton, Andrea
Twain, Miss Drips, and more that I'm looking forward to!
Well, thanks for taking your time out to do this interview with us! I
hope your tour goes on fine, and looking forward to your new album and single!
