| Chapter 32 "Chibi," Woo Hyuk called out as he walked toward her. Chibi turned around and ran out the house. Woo Hyuk immediately went out after her. He caught up to her. Chibi turned around and slapped Woo Hyuk right across the face -_-…They looked at one another in shock. Woo Hyuk was the first to recover from the shock. "Can't you just listen to me explain for once?" "What do you want to explain to me? There's nothing else needed to be explained! I saw enough of what I need to see!" Chibi said as the tears started to come down. "Chibi…Don't you trust me?" Woo Hyuk asked. Chibi looked down on her feet. Hanna's smile disappeared. "I trust you," Chibi said quietly. It was true that she usually believed in what Woo Hyuk had to say. "Then…Can't you let me explain just once? Just this once," Woo Hyuk said. Chibi nodded slowly. Woo Hyuk then took her by her hand and they got on to his car. Chibi thought that they were going to a quieter place to talk but… *********************************************** "I'm not walking in there," Chibi said as she struggled with Woo Hyuk. "Why not?" Woo Hyuk asked as he tried to pull her into the building. "I'll prove my innocence like this." "You're crazy!" Chibi yelled. Thank God there weren't too many people. "We're not regular people. There would be people watching! I'm letting you explain already!" "Well getting married is an easier way to explain," Woo Hyuk answered as he continued to pull Chibi. "I'm too young to get married!" Chibi exclaimed. "Jang Woo Hyuk! You better stop!" Finally, twenty minutes later, they finally stopped. "You…you…babo! What were you thinking!?" Woo Hyuk started laughing. "There's nothing to laugh about, Jang Woo Hyuk!" Woo Hyuk finally stopped laughing. "You don't believe me," Woo Hyuk said innocently. "Any normal person would not believe what you said when they see what happened in the kitchen," Chibi answered. Chibi then nodded. "True…That girl always had her eyes on you," Chibi said as she crossed her arms over her chest and stared at Woo Hyuk. "I don't have my eyes on her though," Woo Hyuk quickly said. Chibi looked at his expression and started to laugh. When Woo Hyuk saw her laugh, he knew that Chibi had forgiven him so he started to laugh also. *********************************************** "You're still angry over that little thing?" Clouds asked. "Little thing?" Hanna asked. "You called that a little thing? Oh! I forgot that one was your so-called good friend and the other one is your oppa." "That has nothing to do with it," Clouds said. "I remember my identity." Hanna just answered with a smirk on her face. Clouds decided to change the subject. "I found out who was behind us the other day." "All she left behind was an earring," Hanna said. She's starting to look at Clouds differently again. "Even the smallest clue is clue," Clouds said. *********************************************** "Jae Won," Fae said as she looked at the guy that took her heart away. She walked toward him. "Fae," Jae Won looked up from the tv and looked at her with a smile. "You know that I love you a lot right?" Fae asked. She suddenly felt like telling him how much she loved him…as if she wouldn't be able to tell him anymore… "Of course," Jae Won said with a smile. "And you know how much I love you, right?" "Yeah," Fae said as she placed her head on his shoulders and Jae Won placed his arms around her and placed a kiss on her forehead. *********************************************** "Fae! It's time for you to get going to the concert place!" Audrey said from the bottom of the stairs. Fae appeared from her room. "Wow! Fae! How pretty you look!" Fae smiled. Audrey then smiled and said, "Although you are always pretty." "Hey! What about us?" the other two girls protested. "You're all really pretty," Audrey answered. "Or else why would you people have so many fans down there cheering on for you people?" The three girls smiled. Then, they sort of got depressed because they had to tell the fans that Christina felt ill so she could not appear. Then, the van beeped for them to come out. "Eh? Fae? What happened to your earrings?" Audrey asked. Fae touched her ears. Indeed, she had forgotten to put on her earrings. "I'll have to go up and get them," Fae said as she ran up the stairs. "Can't we get another pair at the concert place? I'm sure that they would have some back up there," Lami said. Fae shook her head. "There's only one that goes well with this," Fae answered, indicating the clothes that she was wearing. "Then, we'll tell the van to wait for you," Chibi suggested. When she just finished her sentence, the van outside beeped again. Fae shook her head. "I'll go in my own car," Fae answered. "Besides, we're not the first one to go on the stage, so we're pretty much fine." The rest of the girls finally nodded. "Be careful," Audrey said. She was going to see them and the rest of the groups in SM perform. Fae nodded. *********************************************** A few minutes after the van left with the rest of the girls, Fae came out to her car. She turned on the engine and started to drive. A few blocks down the road, she noticed that there was a car behind her and it seems as if the car had been behind her for quite a while already. She then decided to go through the quieter streets to make sure about whether the car was really following her or was is just a car that was going the same attempted way that she was going. After about twenty minutes of driving, Fae was positive that the car was following her. She stopped the car and the car behind her parked not to far away from her. They were on a very high place and Fae noticed that this was the place that was extremely close to a cliff. Fae got off the car and looked at the owner of the car that was following her. At first, she was shocked but she quickly recovered. "Sharon," Fae said to the girl. The girl shook her head. "Celeste." The girl shook her head again. "Clouds," the girl said and with that, she was close enough to Fae and she started to attack her. Fae had learned a little to protect herself but she knew that against Clouds, she would stand no chance. Therefore, after a few moves, she turned around and ran. Clouds, of course, ran after her. Fae knew that there was a high chance of Clouds outrunning her but she was hoping that she would find someone who lived around this area. Finally, Fae ran up to the cliff. She turned around and looked at Clouds. "That cliff is a steep one," Clouds said with a slight sign of a smile. "Why do you want to kill me?" Fae asked as she glanced at the cliff. No one could possibly live if anyone jumped off. "Because you saw me with Hanna the other day," Clouds said simply. "What are you talking about?" Fae asked. Clouds took out an earring. Fae recognized it as her own. "Don't lie," Clouds said. "I found out that it was you. And you know what? We can't really let you live, can we?" "How can you be so cruel to people?" Fae asked. "Haven't you ever thought of any one of us? What about Kang Ta and Woo Hyuk?" Fae could clearly see the change of expression on Clouds's originally expressionless and cold face. "One of them loves you and the other one is your brother," Fae said. Clouds suddenly looked at her with even colder eyes. "It's none of your business," Clouds said. "My only concern now is that I need you to disappear from this world." Fae looked at her. Remembered that Alex had once said how horrible it could get if a person gets into the hands of Clouds. Rather than being tortured, why not just die the easier way? Fae turned around and looked down the cliff. "Jae Won…My love…If there is another life…I wish to accompany you till the end of our days…Something that we can't fulfill this life…I love you, Jae Won," Fae whispered and then, she jumped off the cliff. "No~!" Fae heard someone called out as she fell down the cliff. She turned her head around. Was it an illusion? She actually saw Jae Won. "Jae Won…" Fae whispered as she looked at the face that was imprinted into her mind. "I love you forever." Then, she felt the salt water covered her body… *********************************************** Chapter 33 "No~!" Jae Won screamed into the air as he watched his only love plunged into the ocean below. He turned around and looked fiercely at Clouds. "Why did you do that to her? Why!? Why!? I don't care if you are Sharon or Celeste. Fae was nice to both of you! Why did you make her die!? Why!?" Jae Won then started to attack her but of course, Clouds easily ducked his blows. From a distance, there could be heard a sound of the sirens. Clouds glanced at the direction that the sounds were coming from. She attacked Jae Won to get his attention away and she jumped into her car. Jae Won dropped to the floor as he looked at the car that drove away. Tony held on to him. "Jae Wonnie?" Tony asked as he looked at his friend. "Fae…Fae…" Jae Won kept whispering under his breath. "Why did it had to be you? Why did we have to part? I love you Fae. I love you Fae. Please…Please bring her back to me…" He suddenly cried. He felt the pain in his heart increase with each tear that came out. *********************************************** Lami sighed and looked at the rest of the people. They were at the police station that Alex was resting in. "I just want to ask…Do you people think that it's wrong for us girls to be included into SM?" Lami asked the rest of the people. The people looked at her. "Why are you saying these things?" Eric asked. "We never said anything of that sort." "I mean," Lami said. "Look at the things that had started after the group that I'm in and Fae got included into SM. The events that happen are nonstop." "Don't talk like that Lami," Shoo said. "You're making me feel upset. We never thought of you people like this." "You don't understand, Shoo. I feel as if all of these things happened because of us," Lami said as Chibi nodded. They were the only two left of the original five that was suppose to be included into SM. Sharon was forced to leave…Christina was captured by Clouds…and now Fae…Lami and Chibi suddenly felt like crying. "Chibi!" Eugene exclaimed. "Not you also! Really! We never blamed the two of you for anything. Even if you people never came, if there are going to be killers, there would be killers." "Nothing would have stopped that from happening," Dong Wan said as he embraced Lami. Woo Hyuk did the same to Chibi. "But you people don't understand how we feel right now," Chibi said. "We are the only two that are left." "But you still have to rest of us," Grace said. "I know that I'm not Sharon…but still…in these few months…I really feel close to you people…but I don't know if I would be accepted as you people's friends." "We liked you Grace. Really. We don't blame you for anything and you are like a real good friend to us now," Lami answered. "We just feel upset that so many things happened with our appearance." "Think about it this way," Alex suddenly said. "You brought more adventure to this group." Lami and Chibi smiled bitterly. "Don't be like that," Boa said. "You're making me feel depressed now." "Exactly. The best thing that you can do now, is to make yourself stronger," Sea said. "We don't want you people to blame yourself. Remember, this might just be a test of our friendship." "We would have to win this war," Eric said. "No matter what, we would have to keep this friendship on. We wouldn't want to lose another person from this group." *********************************************** "How did the concert go?" Celeste asked Kang Ta as he entered the door. Kang Ta looked at her for a few minutes. "Kang Ta? Is it you?" "We didn't have one," Kang Ta said truthfully. "Why?" Celeste asked. "We cancelled it," Kang Ta answered as he walked into his room and got a towel and went into the bathroom, leaving only Yu Mee and Celeste in the living room. "Does…does that count as being cold?" Celeste asked Yu Mee. "No," Yu Mee lied. She really didn't want to lie but she also didn't want to hurt her feelings. "He's probably just tired." *********************************************** Kang Ta was in the shower as the water was on, hitting straight on his face as he thought about all of the things that had happened since the first time that he had met the girls. Sharon. Why do I always have this feeling that if I find you, I would find out everything? Where are you? I don't just want the answer. I want you back. It seems as if you have the secret key to everything. But why are you unwilling to let me see you again? *********************************************** "Did Fae really die?" Holly asked Grace. It had been a pretty long time since they had last met because Holly was busy with school and Grace was with Alex at that time. "I don't know," Grace answered. "They were trying to look for the body but they didn't find anything yet." Holly sighed. "Why are so many things happening now?" Holly asked. "If only someone would tell me," Grace said. Suddenly, the phone rang. "Hello?" "Grace?" the person from the other side asked. "Speaking." "This is Shin Ji. I think you better come over and look at Alex," Shin Ji answered. "See him? Isn't it a little late right now?" Grace said as she looked at the clock on the wall. "He's not willing to take the medicine. I think that you better come now," Shin Ji said. "I'll be there in a few minutes," Grace said. She immediately got her jacket and was about to go out when Holly called her. "Where are you going?" Holly asked. "I'm going to see my friend," Grace answered. "At this time?" Holly asked. She was really curious about this person Grace was seeing. "Yeah," Grace answered. "I'll be right back." *********************************************** "I don't want to take that stupid medicine! It never stopped the pain!" Alex yelled at the doctor. "The medicine is not for the pain. It's to make sure that you don't get an infection," the doctor said with a shivering voice. He was getting a little afraid of this guy here. "I don't care," Alex said stubbornly. "And you know what? You are not going to make me take it!" Grace came in and saw this scene: Alex facing toward the wall, back toward her and the doctor at the front of the bed. The doctor was about to call out but Grace stopped him and took the medicine away from the doctor. She walked up to Alex. "I don't care what you say. I'm not taking the medicine." "It's good for you though," Grace said. "I-" Alex was about to say something but then he noticed some difference from the doctor's voice to the voice that just spoke to him. He looked up and met up with Grace's eyes. "Uh…hehe…hehe…um…hi Grace!" he said with a sheepish smile on his face. "Hehe…What are you doing here…um…so late?" "Why aren't you eating your medicine?" Grace asked. Alex looked at her and gave her his most charming smile that almost always worked on the girls. "You know…The doctor is bad! He doesn't know what medicine is good for me and what is bad for me!" Alex said. Grace looked at him. Trying to use that smile, eh? Well, it's not going to work on her! "Eat the medicine," Grace said. Alex shook his head. "Eat it." Shook his head again. Alex then looked at her. "Ok, ok! I'll eat it! Stop looking at me like that," Alex said as he looked at her face that displayed a stern look at him. Alex then smiled again, but this time, it was from his heart. "You look prettier when you smile." Grace blushed a little. Alex finally took the medicine over and finished it. *********************************************** "They saw your face?" Hanna asked Clouds. Clouds nodded. "What are you going to do now?" "I still have my shield. Sharon and Celeste looks exactly the same," Clouds said with a smile. "I don’t feel that letting them know how I look would have any effect." "Rain is probably going to attack soon, again," Hanna said. "What are you going to do?" "You're not worried about your 'Hyukkie' anymore?" Clouds asked. "As much as you worry about Ahn Chil Hyun," Hanna answered. "I have nothing to do with him," Clouds answered. "He's just one of my targets." "Whatever Clouds," Hanna said. "Are you going to finish your mission or not though? You usually just take one day. You spent over three months on this already." "It's my own business," Clouds answered. *********************************************** Jae Won was walking down a street in the city of Seoul. He always spent his time like this after Fae went away from him. He had hoped that this would have been a way for him to forget about everything that had happened but it doesn't seem as if it is happening. Now, instead of using it to get away from what had happened, he decided to treasure every scene in Seoul to remember the times that he had spent with Fae. Fae…his one and only love… "Just look at that! Isn't that the prettiest thing that you had ever saw?" Jae Won suddenly heard a voice say behind him. "Don't get so hyper. Don't forget about the injury that you have on your forehead did not heal yet. You only woke up about two days ago," another girl's voice said. "It's only an injury. Don't worry about it," the first girl answered. Jae Won then turned around and saw… *********************************************** Chapter 34 The pretty crystal rabbit sat in front of the window that separates it from the rest of the world. On the other side of the window was a girl… "Fae?" Jae Won whispered as he looked at the girl in front of him. She had a bandage on her head and there was another girl beside her. "Fae?" the girl asked. She turned around and looked at the other girl. "Was that my name before I lost all my memories?" The other girl shook her head. "I don't know," she answered. "It might as well be." "Oh," the girl who looked like Fae answered as she nodded. She looked up at Jae Won and smiled. "You look extremely familiar to me…as if I knew you some time ago…Did I know you before I lost my memories?" "Lost…your memories?" Jae Won asked unbelievingly. The girl nodded slowly. "My friend, Jess, found me in a beach one morning. They suspected that I fell off the cliff that's really steep around that place," the girl said. Jae Won shook his head. "That's…You really are Fae?" Jae Won slowly said. "You really don't remember a thing?" The girl shook her head. "I wouldn’t think so," the girl named Jess answered. "When we found her, we weren't even sure that she would awake because she hurt her head pretty bad by the rocks under the cliff…You seem to know her. Do you think that you can help her find her past? The doctor said that people that she knew before would make her remember things faster." Jae Won nodded. "Of course," Jae Won answered. *********************************************** "I never knew that you got stupid also, Jae Won," Brian said as he shook his head and looked at Jae Won and the girl who looked like Fae. "If you don't think that she's Fae, we can give her a DNA test," Jae Won answered. "Then, we would know if she is Fae or not." *********************************************** "So you really are Fae?" Chibi said as she looked at the girl. The girl shook her head and then quickly nodded again. "At least that's what the report says," Fae answered. "You don't remember anything?" Lami asked. Fae shook her head. Lami turned and looked at Dong Wan. "Did Jae Won say anything about the way to help her?" Dong Wan shook his head. "He's too happy to remember anything anyway," Dong Wan answered. "We should have sent someone with him to listen to the results." *********************************************** "What made Rain want to finish his task so soon?" Hanna wondered to herself as she waited for Clouds in the tunnel. "Why are you talking to yourself again?" Hanna heard someone say something behind her. She turned around and came face to face with Clouds. "Don't scare me like that again!" "I didn't scare you," Clouds answered as she walked pass Hanna. "Yeah you did," Hanna answered. "Anyway, you know that Rain is attacking soon again. He's not willing to say anything about when he's going to attack. He told his people to wait for the signal and then attack. He didn't even tell them the time," Hanna answered. "I think that he's going to try to finish the mission within these two days. Watch out. I have this feeling that he's going to attack you on the same day that he's going to attack people from SM." Clouds laughed a short laugh. "You think that he has the ability to do anything to me?" Clouds asked. "You never know what would happen, Clouds," Hanna answered. "Nothing's going to happen. Don't worry about it," Clouds answered. "…Watch over Hyukkie for me?" Hanna suddenly asked. Clouds looked at her. Hanna looked back at Clouds. "He doesn't like me…but that doesn't mean that I can't continue to like him, right?" Clouds nodded. "I know that it's impossible for you not to kill him because he's part of the mission…at least just don't let him die with suffering?" Clouds nodded again. "I'm not going to tell you when yet. I'm waiting for the day to come. Then, I'll tell you people when to attack. Oh yeah! Make sure that Clouds is killed along with the people from SM the day that we attack them, ok?" *********************************************** "Clouds," Christina called out when she saw her. Clouds looked at her coldly and didn't say anything. "Can't you let us leave already? We serve no purpose to you now." "What do you mean, no purpose?" Clouds asked with a small smile. "If you want to kill us, you can kill us with the rest of the group instead of just keeping us here and spending money on us for no reason," Sung Mi answered. "What do you think about Hee Jun, Christina?" Clouds suddenly asked. "What?" Christina asked. "What do you think about Hee Jun?" Clouds repeated as she looked straight ahead of her. "He's…a nice guy," Christina answered. "I want to know more than that. I want you to go down the list of the people in SM and describe what you feel about them," Clouds said. "I don't want a single person left out." Christina and Sung Mi looked at one another. "Why do you want to know?" Sung Mi asked carefully. "Just tell me," Clouds said. Brian called out to her as he looked at her walking away. Shin Ji turned around and looked at him. "Yes," Shin Ji asked with a smile. "Is there anything that I can help you with?" Brian looked at her. "Um…how were you these few years?" Brian asked. "What do you mean these few years? It's only two years," Shin Ji said. "You know what I mean," Brian said. "Nothing much," Shin Ji answered. "Did…did you get another boyfriend?" Brian finally asked the question that he wanted to ask the most. "What? You hope that I would get another boyfriend so that you could be sure that I won't go look for you anymore? Trust me, Brian. I won't look for you again even if I don't have another boyfriend," Shin Ji said. She looked away from Brian to prevent him from seeing the pain in her eyes. It hurt her to say these things. "You…thought that I'm trying to push you away?" Brian asked, shocked. "Why would I do anything like that?" "Because you never really liked me since the very beginning, Brian," Shin Ji answered. "I remember when you were talking to your friends about me. You didn't really cared about how I feel. You just cared that you would win that stupid little bet that you could get me to be your girlfriend!" "I never thought of you that way after I knew you!" Brian protested. "Oh yeah, Brian? Then why did you ask me to be your girlfriend?" Shin Ji asked. "If it wasn't for the bet, what was it for? Did you just ask me out so that you could so-call 'help' me so that I won't go on without ever having a boyfriend? I'm telling you, Brian. There are batches of people after me. You could ask any person in our school and they would know. The point is that I don't want any of them because I didn't want to waste my time with them. I thought that I finally found a person who truly understands me. But guess what? I saw the wrong person in you, Brian. You are worse than the rest of the people who were after me at that time!" With that, Shin Ji turned around and started to leave but Brian pulled her back. "I admit that at the beginning there was the bet. We were betting about whether or not I can get you to be my girlfriend because you rejected so many people at that time. I know that there were a lot of people after you, but you didn't want anyone of them. However, after I got closer to you, I found out that I didn't want to just win the bet. I want to win you," Brian said. "I didn't care about the bet anymore at the end. That day, when you saw me go with my friends, yes, we were discussing the bet. I was going to tell them that I was not going to take the money because I found you, who is definitely more precious than the money." Shin Ji looked at him. "Are you trying to lie again, Brian? What's the bet this time?" Shin Ji asked. Brian could clearly see the pain that she was suffering from through her eyes. "I'm not lying. I really do like you since that time and I still like you," Brian answered. Shin Ji looked away. "Why do you always have to appear whenever I am finally able to put away my feelings?" Shin Ji asked. "I don't want to be a game anymore." "You were never a game to me!" Brian said. Shin Ji looked at him, turned her head away again, and then sighed. "At least give me another chance to prove myself. There's nothing more that I ask for. Chibi gave Woo Hyuk a chance when she caught him. Why can't you give me a chance?" Shin Ji looked at him. "I don’t know," Shin Ji answered. "Let me think about it." *********************************************** Shin Ji looked straight ahead of her at the tv without actually seeing what's going on in the tv. Suddenly, three girls sat next to her. "Shin Ji?" Tiffany asked. "You have something in your mind?" Shin Ji looked at them and then shook her head. "They found Fae, but she lost all her memories," Shin Ji said. "How did she lose her memories?" the girl asked. "She probably slammed her head against the rocks when she fell off the cliff. The loss of memories might as well be temporary only," Shin Ji answered. The three other girls nodded. *********************************************** "Jae Won?" Kang Ta said into the phone in a low voice as he looked at the door of his room. Behind that door, he knew that it was Celeste, changing to go out. "Kang Ta hyung?" Jae Won answered. "Celeste insist that she wants to go and see Fae," Kang Ta said. "I'm not sure about this because Fae may have some kind of reflex when she sees Celeste." Jae Won was quiet for a second. "Do you think that I should bring Fae out for a few hours while she's there?" Jae Won asked. "Why not?" Kang Ta answered. His room door opened. "So when's the next concert, Hee Jun?" "What?" Jae Won asked. "When's the next concert?" Kang Ta asked again, hoping that Jae Won would get the point. "Are we going now, Kang Ta oppa?" Celeste asked. From the other side of the line, Jae Won heard her voice so he immediately hung up. "Yeah, sure," Kang Ta answered. *********************************************** "Jae Won went out with Fae?" Celeste asked. "Yeah," Min Woo answered. "We came over to see Fae and then Jae Won told us to look over his house while he takes Fae out." "Oh," Celeste replied. She seemed upset. "Oh well. I guess we would see one another one day." "Yeah," Eric answered. "There's plenty of time." *********************************************** "Jae Won? Why did you take me out all of a sudden?" Fae asked as she walked next to Jae Won. "I just feel like walking with you because we use to do that a lot before you fell off the cliff," Jae Won answered. Fae nodded. Suddenly, she saw something that seemed to give her a shock. She ran behind Jae Won. She seems to have thought of something and then rushed in front of Jae Won again. "Jae Won! Please go away now. Don't let her get you," Fae said. "What? What are you talking about, Fae? Let who get me? I don't understand what you are talking about," Jae Won said, totally confused. "That girl…I don't know…Jae Won…I just don't want anything to happen to you…I don’t know why but I'm just afraid if something bad would happen to you…I…I…Did I care about you before? Because I feel that if you are safe, that would be enough to make me happy," Fae said as she held on to her head. The headaches are getting to her again. She then looked up and saw the same thing. "Please, Jae Won." Jae Won then decided to find the object that made Fae become like this. He followed where she was looking and… *********************************************** |
