Chapter 3 "I'm sorry!" Audrey said in English as she bumped into a person. She looked up and saw one of the person that was in the group from yesterday. "Oh! You are one of the members from H.O.T., right?" she said with a smile. "Yeah," Tony answered back in English, smiling. This girl is a lot friendlier than what the other girl appeared to yesterday. "So, you're now under the same company as I am, aren't you?" Tony asked as they walked toward the dancing room. Tony was suppose to meet the other members there and Audrey was going to go see if the other girls were ready. "No…" Audrey answered. Tony stopped in his tracks. "No?" "Yeah, because it's my friend who's going to be in SM…I just accompanied her to her signing of the contract…" Audrey answered. "Oh," Tony said. "Oh yeah! What's your name? My name is Tony." "Hi," Audrey said. "My name is Audrey." "Which one's your friend?" Tony asked. "All of them," Audrey answered. "My best friend is…I'll introduce you to her when we get to the dancing room…You're going there now, right?" Tony nodded. *********************************************** This is impossible. Totally impossible. These were the words that kept on going through Tony's mind as he watched in disbelief at Audrey talking to one of the girls in the dancing room. "Tony? What's the matter?" Jae Won asked. The other members had arrived at the dancing room to practice. The other members of H.O.T. and the other girls now looked at Tony. "Nothing," Tony mumbled. How can a super nice girl be friends with a block of…ice? "You sure? You look as if you saw a ghost," Kang Ta commented. "Really?" Tony asked as he looked in the mirror and saw his reflection. Just a little whiter than usual. "I don't look that white!" he exclaimed. Then he joked and said, "My skin is not as half as white as Hyukkie's!" Then, he went over and placed his arm over Woo Hyuk's shoulder as Woo Hyuk ran away from his "grip." Tony started to run after Woo Hyuk as Woo Hyuk ran away from him. The other girls saw this and started to laugh except for Sharon. Kang Ta looked at Sharon and went over to her. "Um…I'm just wondering if you people would like to join us tonight for dinner…" Kang Ta asked the whole group of girls. The five girls looked at him. "I'm not feeling that well," Sharon answered immediately without too much feeling. "It won't be that far away and it won't take a large amount of time," Kang Ta quickly added. "That's true, Sharon. Just one dinner won't take a lot of time. Besides, we didn't even look around the city since we came off the plane yet," a girl with long black hair who was about 5'5" answered. Kang Ta recognizes her as the girl who recognize them in the hallway the other day. She was the one who smiled the most in the whole group of girls. Sharon just looked at the girl. "Fine," she finally says. Kang Ta let out a relieved smile. "Then we'll meet later at 6, ok?" Kang Ta asked. The girls nodded their heads. Kang Ta then walked back to join the other boys. "Sharon," the girl who convinced Sharon to go now starts talking to her, "You really should stop being so cold to people…" It was a while before she can actually start getting use to this kind of a personality of Sharon. "Christina…You can't really blame her…" Audrey said. "After all she's been through, I wouldn't blame her," Lami said and the rest of them agreed. "One thing is that the people from H.O.T. are all really nice to her and the second thing is that we are debuting soon and do you think that the audience would actually accept have a gasoo who has such a cold personality?" the girl named Christina asked. "…Sharon has a good voice and her face is not the ugly…" Audrey answered. (chilhyun1979: ^^…Don't mind me about this one…I can't say that I'm too ugly, right?) "…" "We'll just see about it then, ok, Christina? I know that you're worried about Sharon and about the group but…just let Sharon get more use to this before we try to change her more, ok?" Lami said as she looked at Sharon who never said a word throughout the whole conversation. Christina nodded. *********************************************** At the restaurant, after the dinner. "Did you like the food?" Kang Ta asked Sharon who was sitting next to him. Sharon looked at him and nodded. The same expressionless face as yesterday. Does this girl have any other expressions? "She hardly picks what she eats so don't mind her," Audrey answered for her. "Really? Then what about you?" Tony asked with a smile. "I enjoyed the dinner very much, thank you," Audrey returned the smile. "What about you?" "Hehe…Yeah, we enjoyed it…" Tony answered. Maybe just excluding the fact that they have to face a person that might as well be a stone figure… "I guess that we can be going home now, then, right?" Lami said with a smile. "Where do you people live now?" Jae Won asked out of curiosity. "Well, Sharon is living in the hotel by herself and the rest of us live in a house Christina, Chibi, and Lami bought together," Audrey answered. H.O.T. nodded. "Why don't you live with them?" Jae Won asked. "She's use to it," Lami quickly said. She knows that Sharon hates it when people ask questions about her stuff. She glanced at Sharon. Mind somewhere else. "Then, I guess see you people tomorrow," Christina said happily. The people said their good-byes and left. "You're going to go back to the hotel now, Sharon?" Audrey asked. Sharon nodded. "Then…see you tomorrow morning…" Sharon nodded again and walked toward her own car which was parked not too far away. *********************************************** Chapter 4 "Where did Audrey go today?" Lami asked Christina and Chibi in their house that they have bought together. It was about two weeks since they have first arrived in Korea and a few days since they have first released their new album. "I think she went out with Tony," Chibi answered. "Again?" Lami asked. The two other girls nodded. "Since when did they get so close to one another?" Christina and Chibi shrugged at the same time. "You think I'm suppose to know?" Christina asked. "I don't know," Lami answered. "I thought that maybe you would know about this." "If you want to know, I suggest that you ask Sharon," Christina answered. "Yeah. The two of them are the closest because they grew up together," Chibi added. "You know how Sharon is…She never says anything when someone tells her something," Lami said as she rolled her eyes. "Anyway, I'm going out today." "To where?' Chibi asked. "I don't know. I want to walk around the streets to know what I can find and everything," Lami answered. "Ok," Chibi answered. "Oh yeah! You know that Fae's coming over from Germany soon, right?" "Yeah," Lami said with a smile. "See you guys later then." "See you later." *********************************************** Such a boring day. Life shouldn't be like this at all, Lami thought as she walked down the streets. There wasn't too much people on the street because it was early and probably because it's also a weekday. She let out a sigh and kept on walking. She came up to a store that sells cds and decided to go in and take a look around. *Inside the store* There was really no one in there except someone that was looking at cds in the inner part of the store. Lami then started to look around. Pop section. (chilhyun1979: Sorry, I don't know how they separate the cds in Korea so, bear with me…). H.O.T., S.E.S., Shinhwa, FTS, BoA…Like people wouldn't have guessed? She was only familiar to H.O.T….They were the only group that she had met so far. There was actually the cd of the group that they have just formed, Lami thought with a happy smile. There were of course other groups there also. She looked up and found out that someone was standing next to her. Whoa! Cute guy! ^^ The person seems to be around 20 years old. He suddenly looked up and saw Lami looking at him so he turned his head to look at her. Lami then turned her head away and walked out of the store…He looks familiar but she can't quite remember who he is…He looks like someone from tv… Lami was just crossing the street when suddenly… "Are you okay?" a male's voice asked. Lami found out that a man was holding her body. *Smack!* Lami slapped him across the face and the man let go of her body. "What in the world is wrong with you!? Who do you think you are to have the right to touch me!" Lami yelled angrily as the man covered the cheek that Lami had just slapped across. "There was a car that was coming right toward you!" the man said, getting angry for being accused of touching a girl. Lami recognized him as the guy from the cd store. She turned around and saw nothing on the street. "Yeah sure! I see cars driving pass," Lami said with a smirk. "Yeah. A car would just park right in the middle of the street so that you can see that it was about hit you when it went pass the red light," the man answered. Lami looked at him with disbelief. She then turned around and walked away. What a jerk! And she actually thought that he looked pretty cute! *********************************************** "I never knew that Seoul was that small," Chibi joked as she watched Lami walk in the house after a slam. She was preparing for dinner and Christina was flipping through the channels on tv. "Don't remind me about it," Lami said angrily as she remembered that guy that actually touched her right in the middle of the street. Who in the world does he think he is? She sat down on the floor and stared at the television set. "What happened?" Chibi asked as she came out of the kitchen and sat next to her. Christina came over to see what happened to her friend. "I went out and came to…" she told them the whole story that happened. "And he did that in the middle of street!?" Chibi asked in disbelief. "I would have slapped him like you did!" Christina added. "Who would believe those kind of a lie!?" "That's exactly what I thought!" Lami answered. "I just hope that I don't have to see him again…" *********************************************** So much for the good luck…Is there anything such as good luck? Lami stared at the group that was practicing in the dancing room. She and the rest of the group were a little too early for practice so they met up with the last group that was suppose to occupy the room. "Lami?" Christina was worried about the way that Lami was staring at the six males who were dancing in front of the mirror. Lami looked at Christina. The rest of the girls were staring at her also. "What?" Lami asked. "There's nothing wrong…" Except she had to see HIM again. The six people were finally finished with their practicing and they were getting their stuff when one of them saw Lami. "You…" one of them seem to recognize Lami. "Amazing that someone like YOU actually remembers me," Lami said before the other side could continue with his sentence. "I'm telling you: I did not do that on purpose…Well, maybe I did. But there was a car that was about to hit you," the person said. "So you were the person who touched our friend," Chibi said in disbelief. Why is he like that? You really can't judge a person by his looks, huh? "I didn't- How many times to I have to say that I didn't touch her? I'm not going to ruin my reputation over her!" the person said. "What!? Are you saying that I'm too ugly!?" Lami was outraged by his comment. How dare he!? "I have a reputation out there. You can ask any girl out there and they would know who I am," the guy said as he walked away in fury. "What's his point?" Chibi asked. "His point is that he's famous enough to diss people," Lami answered. Then, something just flashed through her head. He's from SM, he's part of a group…Why didn't she think of it before? Isn't he one of the members from Shinhwa? "Famous?" Chibi asked. "Oh yeah! Isn't he Kim Dong Wan from Shinhwa?" "Yeah," Christina answered. Then she looked at Lami. "Are you sure he did that on purpose?" "Now you're going to believe him just because he's a star and not believe me?" Lami asked. "No~ But it's hard to believe someone like him would do that…" *********************************************** "I can't believe that two of my best friends - best friends - would actually not believe me!" Lami said as she walked out of SM to her car. "Some kind of good friends they are." Suddenly a car pulled up beside her. She looked at the car. Never saw it before. Someone from inside rolled down the window. Never saw him before. The man then spoke to her. "I don't think that you remember me but I almost drove into you the other day because I was going to the hospital…My wife was giving birth to a child so I was speeding and I went pass a red light, which caused me almost to drive into you. Thank God for that person who saved you," the man said. "I apologize for my mistake. Can you forgive me?" It took a while for Lami to get all that information into her mind. Then, she slowly nodded and said, "Is it a boy or a girl?" "It's a boy!" the man said happily. "Thank you for forgiving me!" Then, he drove away, leaving Lami still slowly digesting the information that only got into her head. "That would mean that he was telling…the truth?" Lami mumbled to herself… *********************************************** I want to know how the "accident" at my house actually happened. If I don't get the answer that I want, you can get someone else to finish the task. "Shit! That's all she left!?" the same man in the same tunnel but missing the same female. He crumpled the letter that was in hand, originally brought there by a little boy who went away to buy candy with the money that was given to him by the female who gave him the letter… *********************************************** |
