Chapter 5

"Chibi! Are you leaving yet?" Christina asked as she picked up her stuff from the floor, preparing to leave.

"Not yet…I think that I'll practice a little more in here," Chibi answered.  "At least we won't have to worry for the glass in here."  They looked at each other and laughed.

"Okay.  Then I'll see you at home," Christina said as she walked toward the door.

"Bye," Chibi said.  Then, she was the only left in the dancing room.  She went over to take a drink out of her water bottle and prepared to dance the next dance when suddenly someone came in.  She looked up and saw Woo Hyuk.

"Oh! You're practicing now?" Woo Hyuk asked as he made a turn to leave.

"No, no!  It's okay!  I was just practicing a little over time," Chibi answered.  "You too?"  Woo Hyuk looked at her and smiled.  Chibi smiled back.

"I heard that one of your friends is arguing with Dong Wan," Woo Hyuk said as he placed his bag on the floor.  Chibi looked at him and nodded.  "Who do you believe?"  Chibi frowned.

"I don't know.  The Lami that I know would never lie…but on the other hand, Dong Wan wouldn't really do that in the public, would he?" Chibi asked.  Woo Hyuk shook his head.  Chibi looked at him for a second and decided to change the subject.  "I heard that you won an award for your dancing."  Woo Hyuk nodded and blushed a little when Chibi said that.  Chibi thought that it was kind of funny but she decided not to humiliate him since he doesn't seem to be such a bad guy…on the other hand, also a very cute guy. ^^.  "Do you mind seeing if I can improve any of the dances that I have so far?"  Woo Hyuk looked at her and smiled.

"Of course not!  It would be a pleasure." ^^

"I'm sorry to say but one of the child died," the doctor said to a man and a little boy who was about 4 or 5 years old.

"You're telling me…"

"Yes.  The older one died during the week.  I'm very sorry about this but there is nothing that we can do," the doctor said.

"Dad," the little boy said, looking at his father, "does that…does that mean that I'll only have one little sister instead of two?"  The man looked at his son sadly and nodded.  The little boy just hung his head down and tries to hide his feeling of sorrow inside his heart.  "I thought that you told me that…" He decided not to continue.

"I thought that when we came last month, they said that both of my daughters and my wife is in wonderful condition," the man said.

"Um…I…I don't know what to say…," the doctor stuttered.  It seems as if there was something that was preventing him from speaking what he really wants to say.  "I…I would have to say that…that there was something…something that went wrong during…during this month or maybe she just…just got a…a weird…disease that we haven't seen before with no cure…."

"How is the adult?" the man asked.

"She okay but a little tired.  I suggest that instead of taking her out today, you let her rest a few more days," the doctor said.  He seemed more comfortable not talking about the baby that was dead.

"Is the other child safe?"

"Yes."

It was in the morning at 6 o' clock when suddenly the doorbell rang at the house that the four girls shared.  Christina picked herself up and went to the door.

"Those lazy people…Won't even get the door… They have to leave the job to me…," Christina mumbled to herself as she walked toward the door.  She opened the door and was about to yell at the person at the door when she saw who it was.

"Fae!!!!!" Christina yelled as she jumped on Fae, which almost caused Fae to fall.

"You're going to make me fall!" Fae said happily as she tried to push Christina off.  The other three girls were awoken by Christina's "greetings" to Fae.

"Fae!" the other three girls exclaimed together as they went over to either help her with her luggage or pull her into the house.

"We're so happy to see you!" Lami said.  Fae smiled.  Then she looked around

"What happened to Sharon?" she asked.

"You should know her.  She never likes to be with the crowd," Audrey said.  Fae nodded.

"She's not really that cold after you know her," Fae said.  "I feel that she's just pretending so that she doesn't get hurt anymore."  The rest of the girls nodded.

"Hey! You never know!  Maybe one day we can change her," Lami said optimistically.  The other girls nodded.

"Chibi!" she heard someone called her name.  She turned around and saw Woo Hyuk.  She was in SM Entertainment waiting for the rest of the people from the group and Fae who was signing a contract to become a soloist of SM.

"Hi, Woo Hyuk," Chibi answered with a smile.  Woo Hyuk returned her smile.

"Waiting for you friends?" Woo Hyuk asked.  Chibi nodded.

"My friend from Germany is signing a contract with SM today, so I'm waiting for them to go and celebrate," Chibi said.

"Oh," Woo Hyuk answered, nodding his head.  Chibi looked at him.

"You want to come?" Chibi asked.  Woo Hyuk looked at her in surprise.

"Well…Sure!" Woo Hyuk said with a smile.

"You can bring your other friends if you want and if they want to come that is," Chibi said.

"Ok.  I'll ask them."

"Three cheers for Fae!"  Chibi said happily.  Everyone was having fun and cheering.  They were at the house that the four girls bought and from now on, Fae would be living with them.  Audrey had decided to go to school in Korea so therefore, she is staying in the house also.

Right now, only Woo Hyuk and Tony were at their house.  The other three members of H.O.T. were going to come pretty soon after they finish what they had to finish back at the company.

"This place is getting more and more livelier everyday!" Christina said with a happy smile.

"Yep!  And I'm so happy about that!"  Lami said.

"You're having fun?" Chibi asked Woo Hyuk as she sat down on the chair next to him with a big smile.  Woo Hyuk looked at her happy face and smiled with her.

"Yeah.  Of course," Woo Hyuk said.

"Great!" Chibi said.  "We should do this every once in a while so that we can have some fun once in a while."  Woo Hyuk smiled.

"Yeah.  And we can at least see Sharon smile once in a while," Lami said.  The rest of them laughed and Sharon just smiled a bit.  "See! I told you!" Lami exclaimed.

"Audrey!" Tony suddenly called her.  Audrey turned around, saw him, and smiled.  "Do you think that we can talk a little in private?"

"Sure!" Audrey said, but then she turned around and looked at her friends.

"It's okay Audrey.  You can go and talk with him privately," Chibi said with a sweet and innocent smile.

"Yep, of course,"  the rest of the girls said with a big smile on their face.  Audrey blushed and went over to where Tony was.

Then, the doorbell rang again.  Sharon went over and opened the door.  It was the rest of the members of H.O.T.

"Hi!" everyone greeted one another.

"Hey! I just want to ask if you people want to go over to the party that the rest of the people are holding right now.  The rest of the people from SM would be there," Hee Jun asked.

"Really?" Christina asked.

"Yep.  We decided to welcome the two groups that have just joined us," Jae Won said with a smile.

"That would be great!" Chibi said.

"Hehe…I have to change what I said before: Our group is getting more and more livelier each day," Christina said.

Chapter 6

They drove to this place that none of these girls know (be weird if they knew anyway! They just stayed in Korea for less than a month?).  Finally, they came to a stop and the people from the two cars came down the car.

"Hehe! You found this place so that people can't find you here?" Chibi joked.  The rest of the people laughed and they walked into the house.  When they got in, they found out that everyone was there except for them.

"People!" Hee Jun said, loud enough for everyone to hear.  People stopped talking.  "These are the new people that are added to our company this past two weeks."

"Welcome!" the people said happily.

"Glad to have you join us!" Brian said.

"Some of these girls' Korean are not that good so you would have to understand that," Tony said.  The people nodded.  "Another thing is that Audrey is not part of our group but a really nice girl so wouldn't it be nice to include her?"  Everyone nodded again.

"Um…I think that Hye Sung and I would also like to introduce someone to you people," Min Woo said.  Everyone looked at him curiously.  Min Woo looked at Hye Sung and Hye Sung looked at him.  They stood up with the two girls who were sitting next to them and got to the front of the room.  Hye Sung was the first one to speak up when they were in the front of the room.

"This," Hye Sung began, indicating the girl next to him (he was holding her hand), "is Esther…and she's…she's my girlfriend."  Then, he looked at Min Woo.

"Um…this is…Christah…and…she's my girl," Min Woo said slowly.  People looked at one another and then started congratulating the two boys and asked about how they met.

"Finally…"  It was Hee Jun's turn to speak again.  People listened attentively.  "Why don't we start partying!?"  Everyone cheered.

"Do they have to make it look as if I was introducing my girlfriend to the crowd?" Tony muttered under his breath.

"What?" Jae Won, who was standing next to him, asked.

"Nothing," Tony answered.

Throughout the whole night, people came up to Sharon, Chibi, Christina, Lami, Audrey, and Fae to welcome them.  They quickly noticed Sharon's personality.  Jae Won was looking around when he finally saw one of the girls that was new to the company.  He hadn't really seen their faces before but now he finally saw them and one of them caught his sight.  She was not Asian.  She had blue eyes.  Cool blue eyes.  She had white blonde hair with silver streaks.  He walked over to her and decided to talk to her…^^

"Hi!" Jae Won said in his usual shy ways.  Fae looked at him and smile.  What a cute guy!  Hehe…He's actually blushing from saying hi.

"Hi!" Fae answered back.

"…My name is Jae Won."  Jae Won looked at her to see if there was an expression of annoyance.  No.  Good.

"Hi, Jae Won.  I'm Fae."

"You don't look like you're Asian," Jae Won said.  He felt a little more comfortable now.

"No.  I'm from Germany," Fae answered.

"Oh cool! How do you like it here so far?" Jae Won asked.

"I like it here," Fae answered.  She looked at him and smiled again.  "I guess we would be in the same company now so we must be seeing one another a lot now, right?"

"Yeah," Jae Won said happily.

Finally, it was pretty late and people had to start going home.

"I'll take Audrey home," Tony volunteered.  Out of nowhere, someone whistled at that comment and everyone laughed as Tony and Audrey turned a little red from this.

"I'll take you home," Woo Hyuk said to Chibi.  Chibi nodded happily.  She really enjoyed talking to Woo Hyuk and sharing things with him.  She didn't know him for too long but she felt as if they could talk about anything.

"Do you need a ride?" Hee Jun asked Christina.  Christina looked at him.  Since when was he starting to be so nice to her?  Not that he was ever bad to her that is…

"Sure."

Finally, all the people left with their cars or their ride home except for Kang Ta and Sharon.

"Did you drive here?" Kang Ta asked.

"No," Sharon answered.

"You want me to…drive you home?"  Kang Ta asked slowly.

"It's okay," Sharon answered with a light smile.

"No, really.  I can take you home," Kang Ta said quickly.  Sharon looked at him.  She really doesn't want to be like this to him…He's nice to her…Too nice to her…

"Ok," Sharon answered.  Kang Ta let out a smile and took her to his car.  The first few moments, there was no conversation (chilhyun1979: probably would have guessed that one ^^).  However, Kang Ta decided to break the silence.

"Can I ask you a question?" Kang Ta asked.  Sharon looked at him.  She then slowly nodded reluctantly.  He was too nice for her to say no to him again.  Kang Ta then drove up to the side of the street and parked the car in a place where there wasn't too much people and turned off the engine.

"What is it?" Sharon asked.

"Why are you like this to everyone?" Kang Ta asked directly.  Sharon looked at him with surprise.  Never in her life had anyone asked her that question, even the people who had known her for all her life (Audrey), let alone someone who only knew her less than a month.

"You would never understand," Sharon answered as she looked out the window.

"Why wouldn't I?" Kang Ta asked.  He really wanted to know.  What is it that keeps her from the rest of the world?

"Don't ask me," Sharon said.  She then turned her head and looked at Kang Ta.  He could clearly see that she had tears in her eyes.  "Don't make me say it…Please."  With that, she opened the door of the car and ran out. Kang Ta immediately ran out of the car after her.  Obviously, Kang Ta caught up with her.  He held her by the arm, not hurting her, but not light enough for Sharon to run away.  She was crying.  Little did he know that this was the first time she cried since that event happened.

"I'm not trying to pry into your personal stuff…but I really want to know…At least let me support some of the weight that is on your shoulders," Kang Ta said.  Sharon looked up into his eyes.  There was something in his eyes that she can't explain.  Is it love?  She doesn't know…How would someone who hadn't been loved for such a long time know?

"You won't understand," Sharon whispered.  Then, she looked at him fiercely and yelled, "How would you understand something that you never went through!? You would never go through something like that!  No!  You would never know what pain that had caused to a child's heart! Never! Never!"
