FATE~~~ PART 1

"We hope you enjoy your stay here in Seoul.",said the voice over the intercom.
MiSo was busy gathering her things and getting ready to leave the plane.
MiSo's feelings were bittersweet;she always wanted to live in Korea,
but not in the circumstances that she was in. Her parents had died 2 months
earlier in a car accident,since MiSo was only 16,she had to be cared for by a
relative.
Her only living relative was her aunt in Seoul~but through all this~MiSo was
glad that it worked out.

MiSo walked off the plane and insahed(bowed) to the flight attendant on her way
out.
She waited for her luggage at the luggage claim and after a LONG wait~her
luggage finally came.^^ She put her luggage on a cart and made her way toward
the exit,since her aunt was meeting her.

"MiSoYah!!"
MiSo immediately looked up when she heard this.
"Emo!!"(aunt on mom's side)
She ran and hugged her aunt.
"I'm so glad that you're finally here!",said her aunt.
"Yeah,me too!",said MiSo.
"How was your trip??"
"It was pretty good."
They kept talking as they made their way out of Kimpo Airport and to a taxi.

During the taxi ride,MiSo couldn't help but marvel at the scenery.
Even though she visited Korea when she was 9,her memories were fuzzy.
< Korea is definitely more beautiful than I remember >,thought MiSo.
After a long taxi ride,they finally arrived infront of her aunt's apartment
building.
"Ok,we're here."
"All right~",MiSo said as she grabbed her backpack and opened the car door......

FATE~~PART 2

MiSo stepped out of the car and looked around. There were many trees,a
playground down the street,and some stores around the corner. Since her aunt
lived on the 5th floor,they had a lot of stairs to climb!^^

After a hard climb~sweat,they made it! Her aunt gave her some rice cakes and
showed her which room was hers. She then left MiSo to unpack her things.

First,she unpacked her clothes~< Whoa~I didn't realize I had this many! >
After that she unpacked her CDs~luckily her aunt let her have her stereo~^^
She looked through her CDs:H.O.T,Diva,some burned CDs....and it made her
remember how her and her friends would spend hours dancing and singing along
with the songs~and coming up with new dance moves! She decided to turn on a CD
and finish unpacking. She came across a photo of her and all her friends~and it
made her remember the day they said goodbye......

{FLASHBACK)
MiSo stepped out of JinHee's car,holding her back,while JinHee's brother and her
3 other friends,SoHee,Jenny,and HaNa took the other bags. They hung out at the
McDonalds until it was time for her to board the plane.
"Well,MiSo,this is goodbye.",said JinHee.
"Yeah,it is~~",Miso said,as her eyes filled with tears.
"Keep in touch,ok?"
"I will."
"Yeah~and come back and visit us in the States,alrite?",said JinHee's brother.
"Ok,Oppa."
"Things won't be the same with out you.",SoHee told MiSo.
"I want to say thanks for being such great friends to me and helping me get
through this hard time."
"No problem."
"Well~I'd better go."
She then went and gave a goodbye hug to all of her friends.
"Ok,bye~all of you take care of yourselves."
MiSo went to the gate and gave her ticket to the attendant. She walked in and
turned around to say goodbye one last time. She waved as tears came down her
face,and saw her friends crying and saying "Jahl-ga~MiSoYah"........
(END OF FLASHBACK)

As MiSo thought of one of the hardest things she's ever done,she layed down her
pillow and started to cry......

FATE~~PART 3

*2 weeks later*
MiSo came back from Myongdong with her aunt and an armful of bags!^^ She and her
aunt decided to have some fun and rest for a little while,so MiSo could get used
to Korea,but MiSo was already used to it!^_~ She knew she should be in
school,but she figured that she might as well enjoy the break while she had the
chance,right? ^^

That night,MiSo went out to explore the city. She still didn't know what the
area was like and spent some time at a NoRaeBang,then at an arcade. Seemed like
almost everywhere she went,it reminded her of her past with her parents.

MiSo decided to walk around and enjoy the scenery-and enjoy some
boong-a-bbang(baked pastries with a red bean filling)!^^ She was walking by the
playground on the way home when.........
****** WHAM!!!! ******
"Ow!What the heck was that?!?!"
MiSo rubbed her head and saw that it was a football. She saw some guy run up
next to her and pick up the ball,examine it,and yell "It's all right,it's not
damaged."
< What?! >
MiSo couldn't believe this guy! As he walked away,she yelled "Juh-gi-yo!(excuse
me)"
He turned around and she said,"Do you know that you just hit me in the head with
that football?"
"Oh yeah,well,sorry.",he said.
"I can't believe this!"
"Well excuse me!!"
MiSo was steamed-she looked at this guy- kinda tall,blonde highlights,she
would've thought he was cute if he wasn't this rude! >.<
"Aigo!",was all she could say as she walked off
He stared after her as she walked away...

**The next day**
MiSo and her aunt went to register her for school. Her aunt insisted that she be
put in one of the best high schools because MiSo got good grades in the
States,but MiSo wanted to go to an international school because her Korean was
still a little shaky. ^^;;
So~her aunt decided to enroll her in K.F.S,since it had a rep of being one of
the top foreign schools. They went to the school and registered MiSo.
"I'm pleased to have you in K.F.S. I hope that you will enjoy it here.",said the
principal.
"Thank you.",said MiSo.
"You can pick up your uniform at the shop down the street,just show them your
papers,and then you can start tomorrow."
MiSo and her aunt went to the shop and she got fitted for her uniform and was
told she could pick it up 3 hours later. They hung out and then came back~the
uniform wasn't the fashion design of the year,but it was cute.^^

The next morning,MiSo got ready for school. She couldn't remember a time when
she was more nervous. She couldn't decide how to do her hair~tied up?All down?
She stood in the mirror styling her long hair in many ways and just decided to
leave it all down. She put on her uniform and ate a quick breakfast,grabbed her
bag,and left.
As she walked to school,she remembered when she was in school with her
friends....

MiSo smiled at the thoughts.

She arrived in front of the building,and saw the other students going into the
building,most of them were too busy to notice her.
< Ok,here it goes >
She took a deep breath and walked in.....

FATE~~PART 4

The hall was busy~people were busy going their own ways.
< Wow,and I thought my school was crowded >
MiSo looked at her schedule: "Go Ill(10th grade)-Room 10C"
< Now where is that? >
MiSo looked around and only saw Room 7A,7B,7C,and some other rooms.
"You look a little lost.",said a voice behind her.
She turned around and saw 2 guys older than her,and said,"Yeah,I am.It's my
first day here."
"I'm Eric.",said the guy on the left.
"And I'm MinWoo.",said the guy on the right.
"Hi,I'm MiSo.You guys are from ShinHwa,right?"
"Yep~that's us.Are you from the States?",Eric asked.
"Yup."
"Wow~that's cool~~",laughed MinWoo.
"Can you tell me where my class is?",she asked them.
"Sure.",they replyed as they looked at her schedule.
"It's upstairs,and the last door on your left.",MinWoo told her.
"Ok~thanks a lot."
"I have to go and meet some friends. So bye,Hyung,nice meeting you,MiSo.",MinWoo
said as he left.
"Bye."
"My class is on the same floor,so can I show you to your class?"
"Sure~are you and MinWoo in the same grade?"
"No~he's Go Ee(11th),and I'm Go Sam(12th)."
Eric pointed to MiSo's class and goodbye. MiSo was glad that she met someone
that was nice enough to help her out~~even though they were singers.

MiSo looked up at the room sign and stepped inside. She saw some students and
the teacher,so she went up to the teacher.
"Hi,I'm the new student,Shim MiSo."
"Oh hello!Welcome to K.F.S!I'm Mr.Lee,I hope that you'll like it here. Your seat
is 4th from the door and the last seat."
"Ok,thank you."
MiSo went to her seat as everyone that was in the room looked at her. MiSo sat
down and glanced out the window.
< Wow~what a pretty day >
The bell rang and the rest of the students rushed to their seats.
"Well,class,I would like to do something before we start. I want to introduce
our new student,Shim MiSo,who moved here from the US. I hope that you will make
her feel welcome.",Mr.Lee said.
AS he finished speaking,everyone turned to stare at her.
< Oh great >
"Now,let's open up our history books to page 110."
The girl in front of her turned around and said,"Hi!I'm ShinAe~welcome to
K.F.S!If you need any help just let me know."
"Ok~thanks.",MiSo replyed.
MiSo smiled~~now she knew one person in the class.

Mr.Lee was lecturing so she was busy scribbling notes. Mr.Lee then announced
that they were to do a big project on a prominent figure in US history,but the
guy sitting in the front of MiSo's row was busy flirting with the girl next to
him.
"HwanHee!"(I saw his name was written as Fanny,but I'm just writing it this way
because I like it better.^^~Mina~)
"Yes,Mr.Lee?"
"What are you discussing right now?"
"Um..how important,um,the Constitution was to the US."
"Well,then you must know what you're doing. Why don't you be our new
student,MiSo's,partner for this project?I'm sure you'll do a good job,since you
know what you're doing."
HwanHee looked to the back of the row,while MiSo looked to the front of the row.
< Oh no way!It's that guy from the park with the football!! I don't believe
this!! >
Judging from the look on his face,he recognized her too.
< How will I be able to do this?? >
MiSo looked and noticed the girl that HwanHee was flirting with was glaring at
her.
Mr.Lee interrupted her thoughts and said it was lunchtime.

MiSo found an empty spot and sat down.
< What a day~started out ok~but took an unexpected dip! Just my luck... >
She sighed when she felt someone standing over her.
"Oh~Eric SunBaeNim!Hi!"
"Hi~how was you class?"
"All right,I guess."
"I want you to meet the guys,is that all right?"
"Sure."
Eric then called his friends over.
"This is Jin,Andy,HyeSung,and as you know,MinWoo."
"Hi nice to meet all of you,SunBaeNimDeul."
"Hi~!You can just call us Oppa.",they said.
"Where's DongWan hyung?",Andy asked.
"Oh yeah...MiSo that's my other friend,Dongwan,over there,by all those
girls.",Eric said while pointing.
MiSo looked over and saw a guy < Wow,he's cute >
with a bunch of girls by him.
< Hmmm...a ladies' man~figures since they're all singers. >
Then a bunch of girls came to the guys,the guys shouted byes as they were taken
by the girls. "Bye."
MiSo got up and went to look for ShinAe.

The bell rang~~the day was over! MiSo put all of her books in her bag as HwanHee
came over to her.
"It looks like we're stuck with each other for the project.",he said.
"I guess so.",MiSo replyed.
"Meet me at the library tomorrow at 2. Later...",he said as he walked off.
< Aigo...who does he think he is? >

MiSo walked out of the school door when she heard ShiNae calling her. She turned
around and found out that they lived near each other,so they decided to walk
home together.
< Maybe not such a bad first day afterall..... >

FATE~~PART 5

"Where is he?!?!"
MiSo looked at her watch~3:30~
< Great,I wasted almost an entire afternoon. That's it,I'm leaving. >
MiSo walked out of the library,when she passed an arcade she noticed something.
She saw HwanHee playing a game on the DDR.
< Figures >
MiSo went home steamed.

**Monday**
MiSo walked to class through the crowded hall.
"Hi MiSo!"
She turned around and saw MinWoo.
"Hi MinWoo Oppa! How are you?"
"I'm all right,just waiting for the guys."
MiSo continued to talk to MinWoo when DongWan was walking and saw MiSo talking
to MinWoo~"Whoa,who's that?",he wondered. She was a person that he never saw
before.
MiSo left to go to class and not long after,DongWan came up to MinWoo.
"Oh,hi hyung."
"Hey,who was that?",DongWan asked.
"Huh? That's MiSo,she's new.",MinWoo replyed.
"MiSo?",DongWan said as his eyes began to sparkle.
"Why? You like her or something??",MinWoo said with a grin.
"Nah~",DongWan laughed. "Not yet anyways",he thought to himself.

MiSo walked into class when HwanHee approached her.
"Where were you yesterday?",he demanded.
"What??Well,where were YOU yesterday??I waited for and hour and a half!"
"Aigo~I can't believe I have to work with you."
"Well~it's no picnic for me either!",MiSo shot back.
"Maybe we should just forget the whole thing!",HwanHee shouted.
"Fine!!"
"Fine!!"
They stomped away from each other.
Class started 5 minutes later and MiSo couldn't help but get more mad at him.
~mail That guy! First the football,now this,how inconsiderate!
< Aigo! Na moht-sa-ra! >

"Ok,we're going to go to the library and research our projects,and sit at a
table with your partner.",Mr.Lee announced.
At the library,while all the other pairs were looking through books
together,MiSo and HwanHee were sitting at opposite ends of a table,sitting with
their arms crossed.
Mr.Lee came up and asked,"How come you two aren't working together?"
No answer.
"You two better say something."
"We don't like each other.",they both said at the same time.
"So? You two can work this out. Now~~~work together or take an F."

**1 minute later**
MiSo and HwanHee were side by side looking through some books.(haha^^)
They decided to do their project on George Washington. While they were
working,HwanHee noticed how good MiSo was at English. MiSo noticed that HwanHee
wasn't good at writing in English,but she kept quiet. They were working quietly
when HwanHee said "Um~how about we meet tonight and work on the project since
it's due on Wednesday?"
MiSo agreed and they were to meet at 7 at HwanHee's house.

When school was over,MiSo was walkig home with ShiNae. MiSo told her that her
aunt wanted her to get a job to help her learn some life skills and meet new
people.
< Emo!!Aigo~why?!? >
"You can work at my uncle's PC Bang.He needs someone because his last employee
moved. Want me to talk to him about it?",ShiNae said.
"Sure!" MiSo figured that a PC Bang was the best place for her to work at.

MiSo went over to HwanHee's house at 7. They were working hard on the
project,when she noticed HwanHee staring at her. MiSo looked up~
"What?"
"Nothing."
"Oh~"
An awkward silence
"MiSo~I;m sorry about the library thing."
"It's all right."
"Just that I'm babo."
"I know~haha"
HwanHee started laughing too,and this broke the ice. After that,MiSo and HwanHee
started talking and got to know each other better. MiSo was surprised at how
wrong she was about him~. They decided to call it quits at 10. HwanHee walked
her home and said goodnight. As MiSo was walking up the LONG stairway^^,a smile
came to her face.
< Oh my!Could I be falling for him???.... >

FATE~~~PART 6

The next day,Miso walked to school humming to herself. When she walked into the
building,she heard her name called,so she turned around. It was the girl that
HwanHee was flirting with,JuYoung,she walked up to MiSo and glared at her and
said,
"You know,HwanHee is mine. Stay away from him and save yourself the
embarrassment."
Then she walked away.
< I'm not gonna let her bother me >
MiSo kept walking to class and saw that guy,DongWan,standing with a bunch of
girls. MiSo couldn't help but look at him as she walked by.
< Wow~Jung-mahl jahl-saeng-gyuhsuh(He's good looking)~~ >
ShinAe came up to her,so they stopped walking to talk.
"Hi Miso!"
"Oh,hi ShinAeYah~!"
"I talked to my uncle and he said that he'd be glad if you could work for him.
And you can start tomorrow if you want to."
"Really? That's great~! My aunt will be happy~~tell him I'll be there tomorrow
after school~!"

DongWan glanced up and saw MiSo standing with her friend. "Nu-moo
yea-bbu-da(She's really pretty)...",he thought. He was debating whether to go up
to her,but she left before he could decide.

MiSo and ShiNae walked into class and HwanHee wasn't there yet. MiSo sat in her
chair and pulled out a letter she received from JinHee the day before.

To:MiSo

Hi! It's me,JinHeeUnni! How's life in Korea? Gosh~we miss you SO much! School is
so boring without you! I'm sitting in class writing to you,since I have study
hall this period. Not much is new here,except that Oppa hurt his wrist while
showing off in basketball~aigo.. So~meet any nice people over there?? Any cute
guys??^^ Heehee.... Uh-oh...my the teacher is telling me to get to work,so I
have to go. Write back soon! Buh bye!

MiSo smiled as she finished the letter. She could just picture JinHee getting
yelled at by the teacher for writing a letter~haha. She decided that she would
write back that night. She was putting the letter in her bag,when HwanHee came
up to her and said hi.
"Oh~hello HwanHee."
"Why don't we get together again to finish the project up?"
"Ok~how about at my place this time?"
"Ok~how about at 6:30??"
"Sure.",MiSo agreed.

MiSo headed outside for lunch when she ran into HyeSung.
"Hi,Oppa. What's new?"
"Not much. How's school going for you?"
"It's all good. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure,go for it."
"You know,DongWan? How come he's always with girls? Is he a player??"
"DongWan? Nah~he's not a player~just likes girls....a lot...but what guy
doesn't,right?",HyeSung laughed.
MiSo laughed too and then said goodbye because she had to meet ShiNae. MiSo saw
ShinAe and sat down by her. They were just talking about things,when JuYoung
walked by and flashed MiSo a dirty look. ShinAe saw MiSo's expression,and
quickly said,
"Don't let her get to you. Just ignore her."
"Yeah,I will. She has a thing for HwanHee."
"It looks like she does,but so what? Looks like HwanHee has a thing for you!
*wink*",ShinAe said with a grin.
"I don't know...."
Then Eric,Andy,and MinWoo walked by and waved at MiSo. MiSo waved back and then
ShinAe said,"Do you know them?"
"Um~yeah~I met them on my first day."
"Really? Wow...All of them are so cute! But they're the most wanted guys in
school! I wonder if they would be able to stick with one girl for a long time, I
know one of them hasn't."
"Who?",MiSo asked.
"DongWan AKA "The Charmer",you should see his list...."
"Whoa~really......"

When lunch was over,ShinAe told MiSo to wait for her in class because she had to
go to the bathroom. MiSo was walking back to class when JuYoung saw her coming
her way.
JuYoung whispered to her friend,MinHee,and MinHee nodded and then walked into
MiSo.
"Oh~I'm sorry.",MiSo said.
"That's ok.",MinHee replyed.
MiSo turned around and was about to start walking when JuYoung stuck her foot
out and tripped MiSo. MiSo fell and landed on her knees,while the papers in her
folder fell out. MiSo heard JuYoung say,"What a klutz!",and walked away,and she
heard giggles as people walked by her.
< I'm so embarrassed!! How could I have been that babo and not seen her foot? >
MiSo felt so embarrassed and tried not to cry,when she saw out of the corner of
her eye,someone picking up her papers. MiSo looked up and saw that it was
DongWan.
He picked up the rest of her papers and gave it to her.
"Thank you.",MiSo said.
"No problem. I heard that you're new. I'm Kim DongWan,GoSam(12th).",DongWan said
with a smile.
"I'm MiSo,GoIll(10th). Nice to meet you."
"I hope we get to know each other better.",he grinned.
"Um~well~I~uh~gotta go now. Um~thanks again.",MiSo said as she gathered the last
of her papers and ran off.
"Nuh-ruhl nae-gae-guh-ro man-deul-gu-yah(I'm gonna make you mine.)",he thought
and smiled as he went to class.

FATE~~~~PART 7

**5:30 PM**
"Emo~I'm home.",MiSo said as she walked in.
Her and ShiNae decided to stop by Pupyong(a big shopping area near InChun) after
school and buy a few things,but ended up buying a lot more!^^
"How was school?",her aunt asked.
"Good. My partner for that project is coming at 6:30,ok?"
"Sure,no problem."
"Oh~I got a job!"
"What? You did??"
"Yep. At ShinAe's uncle's PCBang,it's near the school too."
"That's great! I know you'll learn a lot from working,plus you'll be able to do
your shopping sprees on your money and not mine."
"Emo!"
"Haha~just joking with you!"
"Hahaha....."

**6:30 PM**
The doorbell rang.
MiSo opened the door and let HwanHee in. She introduced him to her aunt and her
aunt said,"Wow,he's a cute one."
"Emo!!"
"Haha..sorry,sorry."

MiSo and HwanHee worked for an hour and finished the project.
"I glad we're finished. I know that we're gonna get an A.",HwanHee said.
"Yeah,I hope so.",MiSo replyed.
"Thanks for working so hard,even though my English is bad...."
"No,it's not. It's good."
"Yeah,but I can't write in it well......can you help me?"
"Ok~sure."
MiSo spent the next hour helping HwanHee with his English writing. At
8PM,HwanHee insisted on taking MiSo out for some ice cream,so she agreed. They
sat in the ice cream shop and talked about things:Korea,America,music..MiSo felt
comfortable with him now. HwanHee decided to walk MiSo home,when they passed and
arcade. HwanHee challenged her to a DDR game,so they decided to play for a
while.^^
By the time they reached MiSo's house it was around 10:30.
"I hope your aunt won't be too mad at us for staying out longer than we said we
would."
"Nah~I don't think she will be.....that much....hopefully.",MiSo laughed.
"Haha~~I had fun tonight.",HwanHee said as he grabbed MiSo's hand.
< **SHOCK!** >
"Yeah,I did too."
"Well,I'm gonna go now. See you tomorrow.",HwanHee said with a smile as he left.
"Bye...."

MiSo went up to her aunts house and took a scolding for staying out later than
MiSo told her and not calling. >.< She apologized and went to her room. She sat
down and thought about what she did that night.

She layed down and fell asleep thinking about HwanHee.

FATE~~~PART 8

MiSo got ready for school and left. She walked into class and saw HwanHee.
"Hi~",she said.
"Hi~I got you something."
"What?"
"He handed her a bag and she looked inside.
"Boong-a-bbang!(baked pastries with a red bean filling)These are my
favorite!(heehee~mine too!^^~*Mina*)Thank you!",MiSo said.
"You're welcome.",he smiled back.

Class started and it was the day they had to present their projects. When it was
HwanHee's and MiSo's turn,MiSo was a little nervous.

"And that is why Geoge Washington was so important to US history.",MiSo stated.
She glanced at HwanHee and he flashed her a smile.
"Good job,you two,A.",Mr.Lee said.
"All right!",MiSo and HwanHee said together.
As MiSo walked back to her seat,she heard JuYoung snicker at her.

When the day was over,ShinAe walked MiSo to her uncle's PCBang and introduced
them.
ShiNae had to go to the dentist,so she said that she would be back at 6,when
MiSo got off of work. MiSo's job was to sit at the desk and be the cashier,and
show people to computers. MiSo was finishing up her homework when some people
came in.
She stood up to welcome them and saw that it was ShinHwa.
"Oh~hi OppaDeul!"
"MiSo?? What are you doing here?",asked MinWoo.
"I work here. I just started today,my aunt is making me do this.~sweat Why are
you guys here?"
"We want to play some games and I want to show them how I'm a natural at
STARCRAFT.",Eric said.
The other members and MiSo started laughing and MinWoo said,"Whatever,Hyung.^^"
"Haha..let me show you to your computers."
MiSo led them to 6 computers in a row.
"Let me know if you need anything.",she told them.
"Ok~thanks a lot,MiSoYah!",they all said.
MiSo sat back down in her chair and worked on her homework. A little bit
later,DongWan came over.
"Do you need something?",she asked.
"Yeah~um~my computer froze up and I thought that you could help me,because you
seem so smart.",he smiled.
"Haha~ok,sure."
MiSo walked over to the computer and restarted it.
"Thanks.",he said.
"Yep~no problem.",she smiled and walked away.
DongWan gazed at her as she walked away and smiled.
"DongWan!"
"What?"
"Come on,you know what to do when you're computer freezes up! That's gotta be
the lamest flirt tactic you've ever used!! Oh~look~DongWan has a thing for
MiSo!",Eric said with a grin.
"Oooo~~~",the guys said.
"So what,you guys?",DongWan laughed back.
The guys left at 5 and as they were walking out,DongWan decided that he was
going to ask MiSo out. "Tomorrow...",he thought.

ShiNae came back at 6 like she said she would. MiSo walked ShiNae to her house
and then went home. When MiSo arrived in front of the apartment building,she saw
HwanHee waiting for her.
"Hi~what are you doing here?",she asked.
"I was waiting for you. I was wondering if you could help me with my English
again."
"Sure."
MiSo and HwanHee went up to MiSo's house and MiSo helped him until 7,when they
decided to go out. They walked around and then went to a movie. HwanHee bought
the tickets,and MiSo bought the food. During the movie,MiSo's mind was too busy
to pay a lot of attention to the movie. She was happy that she was with
HwanHee,he had made her time in Korea happier than it already was. HwanHee
slowly grabbed her hand...
< Whoa! Oh my......HwanHee.... > MiSo glanced at him.
< Aigo~muh-shi-suh~~ >
When the movie was over,HwanHee took MiSo home.
"That was fun. How about we do this more often?",HwanHee said.
"Yeah~ok."
HwanHee smiled at her and said goodbye.
"Bye."
< What a night >

The next day at lunch,when MiSo was waiting for ShinAe,DongWan came up to her.
"Hi MiSo."
"Oh~hi DongWan SunBaeNim."
"Just call me Oppa."
"Oh,ok."
"Um...so what's new?"
"Not much. What about you?"
"Same here."
"........"
MiSo glanced down because of the awkward silence,and DongWan stole a glance at
her.
"Um,MiSo~~"
"Yes?"
"Uh......nothing."
"MiSo!!",ShinAe called.
"Oh~ShinAeYah!!",MiSo called back.
"I have to go now. Bye~",she told DongWan.
"Bye.",he said as she left.
"Aigo!! Why did I get all tongue-tied! That's never happened before!",he
thought, and then kicked a tree that was next to him.

After school,MiSo went to the PCBang to work. She liked the job;it wasn't too
hard and she did meet new people,plus a lot of the customers went to K.F.S. MiSo
was busying writing to her friend,when Jin and DongWan walked in. MiSo looked up
and said,"Hello,OppaDeul!"
"Hey MiSo.",they both said.
She got up and showed them their computers.

MiSo was putting her books in her bag and was preparing to leave,when DongWan
came up to MiSo.
"MiSoYah~"
"Yes?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure,what?"
DongWan pulled out some paper flowers from his bag and said,"I like you and I
want to know you....will you go out with me?"
MiSo was very surprised as he handed her the flowers.
"I.....can't."
"Can you tell me why?"
"There's someone else.",MiSo said as she put the flowers down and walked out
quickly.

MiSo was still surprised at DongWan's proposal when she got home. She wondered
what she would have said if she didn't have HwanHee.....

FATE~~~~ PART 10

**Friday**
The next day,MiSo walked into school and was hoping that she wouldn't run into
DongWan. She was walking when she heard Jin call her.
"Hi Oppa."
"Hi. Can we talk?"
"Sure."
They decided to go outside since they had some time before class started.
"I saw what happened yesterday...",Jin said.
MiSo didn't say anything.
"I'm not gonna ask you anything,I just want to let you know that DongWan really
likes you. I've never seen him act this way over a girl before......but that's
all. I'll see you later.",Jin told her and then left.
MiSo didn't know what to think,and decided to ignore it and forget everything
about DongWan.

HwanHee was waiting for MiSo and smiled when he saw her. He went up and greeted
her. MiSo was happy to see him and smiled brightly.

MiSo went to meet HwanHee after work;they decided to do this a couple days after
school. They studied and then saw another movie. They decided to meet the next
day,Saturday,at HwanHee's house,and then go to Pupyoung(big shopping place near
InChun).

**Saturday-The next day**
"Emo,I'm going to meet HwanHee,",MiSo said as she put her shoes on.
"You must really like him,you've been meeting him a lot.",her aunt said.
"Yeah,I do.",MiSo replyed smiling.
"Have fun and don't buy too much stuff.",her aunt laughed.
"Haha,ok I won't,Emo!",MiSo laughed as she went out the door.
MiSo met up with HwanHee and they took the subway to Pupyoung. Pupyoung was
crowded~~people must have had the same idea!^^ They walked around and looked at
a lot of things. MiSo helped pick out some shirts for HwanHee and he picked out
some for MiSo. They grabbed some ice cream and walked around.
They spotted a photo sticker machine and decided to take some photos. They took
some funny ones,some cute ones,and they even took some with goofy looking wigs
on!^^ They did some more shopping,and then went back home.
MiSo and HwanHee were walking,when HwanHee said,
"Do you miss America?"
"Actually....no. Not that much.",MiSo replyed.
"Really?? Why not?"
"Because there are sad memories there. But I'm happy here,mostly because of
you."
HwanHee smiled and glanced down. When they got to MiSo's house,he handed her the
bags he was carrying for her.
"HwanHee~thanks for everything."
"Nah...thank you."
He looked at her and then he leaned over and kissed her. When it was over,he
looked at her and said,"I'd better go."
"Ok.",she said.
He smiled and then walked away.

MiSo walked into her aunt's house in a daze.
"Did you have fun?",her aunt called.
"Uh-huh."
"Did you buy anything?"
"Uh-huh."
"I'm sure you're tired,so you can go to bed."
"Uh-huh.",MiSo said as she walked into her room and sat down.

FATE~~~~ PART 11

For the next 3 weeks,MiSo went to school,worked at the PCBang everyday after
school,and met HwanHee.(she helped him with his English for a little bit and
then they would go out) She ran into ShinHwa a lot and got to know them as
really nice guys. MiSo herself was surprised at how well her first few weeks of
school had gone. < Haeng-bok ha-da! >

**The following Monday**
MiSo was on her way to school when she heard someone call her. She turned around
and saw HwanHee running toward her. She smiled and said hi. He smiled back and
greeted her. They stopped to buy some soda,when they walked out of the
store,HwanHee grabbed MiSo's hand,and they smiled at each other.
They walked the rest of the way together....

DongWan was standing with the rest of the ShinHwa members,when he saw MiSo
holding hands and walking with HwanHee. He felt a pain in his heart that he had
never felt over any girl. The rest of the members were talking,so HyeSung
glanced at DongWan and saw a hurt expression on his face.
"DongWan-"
"......."
"DongWan!"
"Oh~~huh?"
"Are you all right?"
"Yeah,I am. Don't worry."
DongWan glanced at MiSo and HwanHee as they walked into the building.
"MiSoYah~~",he thought.

At the end of the day,MiSo was waiting for ShinAe outside of the building,when
DongWan came out. MiSo felt awkward and looked down.
"Hi MiSoYah."
"Hi Oppa."
"How have you been doing?"
"Pretty good,and you?"
"I'm all right."
"......."
"MiSo~~um~~I gotta go. See you later."
"Bye."
DongWan left and then ShinAe came out.

**The next day~Tuesday**
DongWan was walking around before school and spotted HwanHee standing and
talking behind a tree with some girl.
"Isn't that the guy MiSo was with?",he thought. He looked closer and realized
that it was,and the girl was the one that tripped MiSo in the hall. "What's he
doing with her?",he wondered to himself.
He went closer and stood behind a corner.
"Why are you going out with her?",JuYoung demanded.
"I have my reasons.",HwanHee replyed.
"Don't tell me you ACTUALLY like MiSo.",JuYoung said as she rolled her eyes.
"Huh~~~actually I don't."
DongWan's ears perked up as her heard this.
"What are you talking about??!"
"MiSo is really good at English,I noticed this when we were doing our project. I
asked for help to test her and I knew that if I went out with her,she would help
me a lot more,and I was right. It's almost like a free tutor.",he said with a
smirk.
"How sneaky,hahaha...",JuYoung laughed.
"Na-bbeun ja-shik",DongWan thought. He walked away as HwanHee and JuYoung
laughed together.

DongWan was sitting with the rest of the ShinHwa members at lunchtime,when MiSo
walked by with ShinAe.
"MiSoYah!",they all yelled.
"Hi OppaDeul!",she smiled back as she walked by.
DongWan was in a dilemma. He knew that telling MiSo what he heard would be the
right thing to do,but he didn't want to ruin her happiness. The guys saw the
expression on DongWan's face.
"DongWan~",Eric said.
"What?"
"We've noticed that you've been a little preoccupied today. What's wrong?",Andy
asked.
"You can tell us.",HyeSung added.
"Well.....all right."
DongWan told them what he heard between HwanHee and JuYoung.
"WHAT?!?!",was all the guys could say after DongWan finished.
"Yeah,it's true.",DongWan said.
"That jerk!",HyeSung said.
"I say we jump him.",MinWoo suggested as he jumped up.
"I'm with you!",Eric and Jin agreed,jumping up.
"Come on you guys~!! You can't do that!",DongWan told them.
"Yeah. You're right.",MinWoo said,sitting back down.
"Have you told MiSo yet?",Andy asked.
"No."
"You have to tell her! It's the right thing to do!",MinWoo said.
"Yeah,she may be hurt at first,but it'll be better for her in the future.",Eric
agreed.
"And I'm sure she'll thank you for it.",Jin added.
"Hmmm.....",DongWan thought.

After school,DongWan was walking and decided to go to the PCBang and talk to
MiSo. "Ok....",and he opened the door.

FATE ~~~~ PART 12

DongWan walked in and saw MiSo helping a kid with a computer game. She looked
over and saw him,so she walked over.
"Hi.",she said with a smile.
"Hi."
"You can use the computer over there."
"Ok.....",DongWan looked at MiSo and couldn't bring himself to tell her,so he
went to the computer. DongWan sat at the computer and was trying to work up the
nerve to go up to MiSo and tell her,but after an hour went by,he decided to
leave. He went up to the desk and payed.
"MiSo...can we go talk right now? I need to tell you something."
"Um..ok. Hold on."
MiSo went and found ShinAe's uncle and said that she would be back in a few
minutes. They walked out and stood outside of the PCBang.
"Ok,what do you have to tell me?",MiSo asked.
"MiSo~~",DongWan hesitated,but thought of what the guys had told him.
"MiSo,there's something about HwanHee you need to know."
"What?? HwanHee?"
"Yeah...it's not good,but you have to know. HwanHee's using you. He's only going
out with you because of your English."
< What? >
MiSo didn't know what to think.
"How could you? How could you lie to me like this?? It's because I rejected your
propose isn't it?!? I can't believe you! I thought you were better than this!
Don't talk to me again!! ",MiSo said angrily and went back to the PCBang.
DongWan sighed and leaned against the wall.

MiSO went back into the PCBang and sat behind the desk. She was so mad...
< Geez,that jerk!! I can't believe it!! Just forget that.... >

MiSo met up with HwanHee after she got off from work. When they were
studying,DongWan's words came into her mind.
< No,it can't be >
MiSo looked at HwanHee and he smiled at her.

That night,they went to an amusement park. They rode some rides and had a good
time.
On the way home,HwanHee bought her a bracelet that he had picked out. When they
reached MiSo's house,HwanHee kissed her goodnight and left. MiSo touched the
bracelet and watched him walk off.
< DongWan was definitely lying. I know so >

**The next day~Wednesday**
MiSo was sitting with ShinAe at lunch and they were chatting about different
things.
MiSo had some rice cakes and decided to go and give some to HwanHee,so she
grabbed her bag and started walking. She was looking around when she saw HwanHee
with some friends. She was walking up when she heard him say,"Pretty good
plan,huh?"
MiSo stopped and quicky jumped behind a tree.
"Yeah,it was! Going out with her so she would help you with English!",his friend
laughed.
"Yeah,I bought her some stuff,took her places,and sweet talked her,so she would
be even happier to help me and she was!",HwanHee laughed.
MiSo felt her heart drop and shatter as she heard this. Tears filled her eyes as
she dropped the rice cakes and ran off.

She ran out of the school,and ran home. At that point,she didn't care about the
consequences of leaving school. She went up to her aunt's apartment,as tears
fell down,and lied on the couch and started crying hard. She had never been hurt
like this and MiSo felt so much pain in her heart.
< How could I have been so stupid? >
MiSo's mind was a mess and she couldn't stop crying. Her aunt came home not too
long after and was very surprised to find MiSo home so early and in tears. Her
aunt was worried,and MiSo explained what happened. Her aunt couldn't believe
it,but called ShinAe's uncle at the PCBang to tell him that MiSo couldn't come
to work that day.
He understood and said that he would see her the next day. MiSo's aunt comforted
her,and they had a long talk over dinner,which was MiSo's favorite dish,bulgogi.
After dinner,MiSo said she needed some time alone,so she went out for a walk to
clear her mind.
< Hmmm....7:00 >
She started walking and sighed deeply. She walked by the arcade and stopped in
front of the window. The memories of her and HwanHee came to her mind,and tears
began to fill her eyes.
< No,stop! Forget about him! It meant nothing~don't think about it! >
MiSo blinked away the tears and kept walking. She stayed out for a while and
went home. She was about to go up the stairs when someone said,"MiSo"
She stopped. She knew who it was. She turned around and prepared to face
him......

FATE ~~~~ PART 13

MiSo turned around and saw who she suspected ~~ HwanHee.
"Hi. Where were you? You weren't in class after lunch. What's wrong?",he asked.
"Why do you care? I know that you don't.",she said quietly.
"What? What are you talking about?"
"You know! I know that you've been using me all this time."
"......",he didn't say anything,and just glanced down.
"How could you do this? Did you have any idea of how I felt about you?? Aigo~!!
Nabbeun nom-ee-ji!!! I never want to see you again!!",when MiSo finished she
took off the bracelet he bought her and threw it to the ground. She turned and
went up the stairs. HwanHee was left there,stunned,and he felt a little
guilt,plus a feeling more than that.....

**The next day~Thursday**
MiSo walked to school and forced herself to get her mind off of HwanHee. The
guys of ShinHwa were standing around talking. DongWan kept thinking about MiSo's
reaction to what he had told her. "Aigo",he thought.
"Hey,there goes MiSo.",Eric said.
"MiSoYah!",they all called.
MiSo's mind was wandering,so she didn't hear them.
"MiSo!",they called again.
MiSo snapped out of it and waved to them,with a little smile. DongWan saw the
expression on MiSo's face and knew that something had happened.

MiSo walked into class,and Mr.Lee said that he needed to talk to her. They went
to his office and sat down.
"MiSo,can you tell me where you were after lunch yesterday?"
"Mr.Lee,I'm sorry. I left.",she replyed quietly.
"Can you tell me why?"
"It was an emergency. I'm sorry."
Mr.Lee punished MiSo for skipping by making her sit by the class door with her
arms up for 30 minutes. As MiSo sat on her knees with her arms up,her mind was
someplace else. After a few minutes,her arms were getting sore,but she barely
noticed it. DongWan was walking by and saw MiSo sitting there. He wanted to go
and talk to her,but he knew he couldn't. He had to go back to class,so he left.

MiSo went to lunch and sat with ShinAe. ShinAe noticed that MiSo was acting
different,so she asked what was wrong. MiSo decided to tell her everything.
ShinAe was shocked at what HwanHee did to her,she never knew he was that type of
person. ShinAe comforted MiSo,and MiSo was glad that she had her as a friend.

The bell rang,and MiSo was glad the day was over. MiSo went to work and sat at
the PCBang thinking. She stopped at ShinAe's house after work and then went
home. MiSo went to her room and layed down. He mind was still on HwanHee and she
wanted to forget him so much,but her heart was still in pain. She sighed and
looked at her desk and noticed the photo stickers that her and HwanHee took at
Pupyoung. She got up from the bed and picked them up.
< Oh,HwanHee~~~ how could you do this to me? >
MiSo felt her eyes fill with tears,and tossed the pictures into the trash....

FATE ~~~~ PART 14

**Friday**
The next day,MiSo took it easy. She went to school and went to work.
< Woo~Friday! TGIF! >
She was glad that it was the weekend,so she could spend some time on her own.
MiSo went up to NamSan Mountain on Saturday. She figured a little nature
experience would help her out.

On Sunday,ShinAe called and convinced MiSo to meet up with her. They ate some
lunch,and ShinAe took her to a NoRaeBang. MiSo was hesitant at first,but ShinAe
made MiSo get up and sing some songs. MiSo loosened up and they had a great
time. When MiSo and ShinAe walked out of the NoRaeBang,MiSo felt 100% better.
"ShinAeYah."
"Yes?"
"Thanks so much. Today was really fun."
"Hey,no problem. After all,music heals the soul!~wink"
"And thanks for helping me get through this."
"No,it wasn't anything. You're my friend~ and besides, you don't need that jerk
anyways."
"Haha,yeah I don't."
"Now~I need to find a nice muht-jin namja for you! Haha..."
MiSo started laughing and felt a lot happier than she had in a couple of days.

**Monday(the next day)**
MiSo sat in class and was actually able to focus in,since she was feeling much
better. She had accepted what had happened to her and just decided to move
on.JuYoung had actually said hi to her,and with a smile. MiSo didn't reply back.
< Probably because I'm not with HwanHee anymore... >

HwanHee sat watching Mr.Lee lecture,when his mind wandered to MiSo. He looked
back and saw that she was busy writing. He turned back around and felt that he
missed her~~and he did,very much. He had spent the previous day with JuYoung,but
she wasn't like MiSo at all,and he finally realized that he really did have
feelings for her.

School ended and MiSo went to work. She was sitting behind the counter,when she
saw DongWan walk by. She ran out and quickly called him. DongWan turned around
and was surprised to see MiSo there.
"Hi.",she said quietly.
"Hey.",he said quietly.
"Um~~Oppa~"
"Yeah?"
"Can I talk to you later? It's important."
"...All right. When?"
"I get off at 6. How about then?"
"Ok,it's a deal."

DongWan left and came back as MiSo got off from work. They walked over to a
nearby coffeeshop and sat down.
"The reason I wanted to talk to you was that I owe you an apology.",she said.
"For what?"
"About what you told me about HwanHee. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten mad at
you,afterall,you were right."
"Nah,don't worry about it. I'm just sorry that it happened this way....are you
doing ok?"
"Yeah,I am. I'm all over it."
"That's good to hear."
MiSo and DongWan ended up talking for another hour. When they walked out of the
coffeeshop,DongWan said,"MiSo~I know this seems a little sudden,but can we get
to know each other? I mean,more than friends."
MiSo was stunned and wasn't sure what to say.
"Um....I'm sorry. I don't think so."
"Why?"
"I gotta go. Bye.",MiSo said and quickly left.

MiSo went back to the apartment and went to her room.
< Why did I say no? I wanted to tell him yes...but he's a singer. And I've seen
the way girls are around him...not right for me..... >

DongWan was hurt that MiSo turned him down again. "I'm not going to give up",he
thought.

**The next day~~ Tuesday**
DongWan saw ShinAe and ran up to her.
"Hi,I'm DongWan. You're MiSo's friend,right?"
"Yeah,I am. What can I do for you?"
"Can you give this to her for me?",DongWan said,as he pulled a letter out.
"Sure. You like her,don't you?"
"Um~yeah. How do you know?"
"I can just tell."
"Really? Well,I've asked her out,but she's turned me down,I don't know why. Can
you tell me what you think?"
"Hmmm....well,honestly,I think it's because she doesn't want to risk breaking
her heart again. You are a singer,and she doesn't really know you. Plus you're
always around girls. Well~~I'll give her the letter,bye.",ShinAe said and then
she left.
"Thanks.",he said. Then ShinAe's words made him think.

ShinAe walked into class and saw MiSo at her desk.
"MiSo! Hi!"
"Hi~!"
"DongWan asked me to give this letter to you.",ShinAe said,as she pulled out the
letter.
"Oh,ok.",MiSo said and then put the letter in her bag.

MiSo was walking home,when she approached the door to the apartment building and
saw HwanHee. She glanced at him,and walked by him.
"MiSo! Wait! I need to tell you something."
MiSo stopped and turned around.
"I don't care. You hurt me like no one else ever has,and I hate you for it.
Don't ever speak to again.",MiSo flashed him a cold look and headed up the
stairs.
HwanHee stared at her as she left,and felt tears come to his eyes,since her
words had stung him hard.
"I wanted to tell you that I love you....."

FATE ~~~~ PART 15

**The next night~Wednesday**
MiSo was at her desk doing her homework. She leaned back to stretch and saw
DongWan's letter on her stand. She had put it there the day before and
completely forgot about it. She opened it up and started reading.

To: MiSo

It's DongWan. After last night,I've been thinking a lot...about everything.
School,singing,but mostly about you. I really like you,MiSo. All I want is a
chance to prove it to you.
........
.......

The letter went on and when MiSo finished reading,she began to think.

**The next day~Thursday**
At lunchtime,MiSo went looking for DongWan. She looked down and saw her shoelace
was untied,so she bent down to tie it. Some girls were standing next to her,and
MiSo overheard what they were saying.
"Wow~you actually went out with DongWan? Kim DongWan??"
"Yep! Last Friday night! We had fun! I think he really likes me!"
"Wow,you're so lucky!"
MiSo heard this and became discouraged. She had decided to accept DongWan this
time,but after hearing this,she decided not to. MiSo walked back to find
ShinAe,when she did,she sat down next to her.
"Hey ShinAe."
"Hey MiSo."
"Ok~so~did you read the letter?? Are you two gonna go out?"
MiSo sighed~"Yeah~I read it. I thought about giving him a chance,but I overheard
some girl that he took out last week,talking about him,and about how much she
thinks he likes her and stuff. Aigo..."
"No way! Geez..."

MiSo was walking to work when DongWan came up to her.
"Hi MiSo."
"Hi Oppa."
"I brought you these.",he said,and handed her a dozen red roses.
"Oh~~~~"
"MiSo~did you think about what I said?"
"Yes~~and I can't accept it."
"What? MiSoYah~tell me why and tell me the truth. Just tell me straight out."
"Straight out? Ok~I'm not sure if I can trust you with my feelings. You're a
popular singer,and seems like into girls....I just don't think I can trust you
not to break my heart.",MiSo handed him the flowers and walked away. DongWan was
hurt,and looked at her as she walked away.

MiSo sat in the PCBang replaying what had happened. Jin,MinWoo,and HyeSung
walked in,but she didn't notice.
"MiSo."
"MiSoYah!"
"Oh~~I'm sorry.",MiSo said.
"Are you ok?",MinWoo asked.
"Yeah~I am. You can use the computers over there."
"All right.",they replyed.
Jin and MinWoo went to the computers,but HyeSung stayed and said,
"MiSo,can I talk to you about DongWan?"
"DongWan?? Well......ok."
"He wanted me to tell you something."
"Ok~what?"
"He said to tell you that he wants to meet you in front of the arcade at 7."
"Oh...."
"MiSo,let me just tell you that you should give him a chance. Don't let us being
singers scare you off~I think he really does like you...now it's all up to you."
Then HyeSung walked away.
< Maybe he's right..... >

DongWan was standing infront of the arcade and he was nervous. He looked at his
watch~~7:15~he looked down the street~MiSo wasn't coming. A few minutes
later,MiSo walked up.
"Hi. I'm sorry that I'm late."
"Hi~it's ok. MiSo,thanks for meeting me.I just want you to give me one
chance,and after this,if you still feel the same way,I'll leave you alone for
good. I promise."
< Well~what do I have to lose? >
MiSo thought for a moment and agreed.
"You will? Ok~meet me here on Saturday at noon. See you then,bye."
"Ok,bye."

FATE ~~~~ PART 16

**Saturday**
MiSo was brushing her hair in front of the mirror,and was deep in thought.

MiSo finished brushing her hair,grabbed her bag,and went on her way.

When MiSo got to the arcade,DongWan was already waiting for her.
"Hi!",he said with a smile.
"Hi~"
"Are you hungry? I'll buy you lunch."
"Um~~ok."
DongWan took her to a restaurant down the street. They looked at the menu and
ordered. After the lady took their order,DongWan said,
"So~how have you been doing lately?"
"Pretty good.",she replyed.
"Are you and,you know,worked out?"
"In a way. But it's all done and over."
"If you want, me and and the guys can jump him for you.",DongWan said with a
grin.
"Haha~tempting,but no thanks.",MiSo laughed.

After they ate,they were walking around,and DongWan said,
"I want to show you something. I want you to know me. Come with me to rehearsals
and you can see what I'm like out of 'regular life'."
MiSo agreed and DongWan took her to SM and into ShinHwa's practice room. The
other members were busy practicing their dance moves when they came in.
"Hey MiSo~!",they said.
"Hi OppaDeul~"
MiSo sat down in a chair and watched them practice. She was watching them and
looked at DongWan dancing
< Wow...he's so muht-shi-suh... >
They kept practicing and they messed up a few times,and MiSo was getting a good
laugh out of some.^^ After a while,they all took a break,so MiSo sat with them
and talked,when four girls walked in. The guys stood up and greeted them.
"MiSo,this is HyunAh,YuMi,JiYoung,and EunJung. They went to our old school and
now they're training at SM.",Eric said.
"Nice to meet all of you.",MiSo said.
"Nice to meet you.",the girls said back.
The guys had to go back to practicing,so MiSo and the older girls sat and
watched them. When rehearsal ended,MiSo went to the bathroom. As she was walking
back,she saw HyunAh holding DongWan's hand and talking to him quietly. MiSo saw
them and quickly walked back into the practice room.

"DongWan~let's get back together. Come on,I know that you still have some
feelings for me.",HyunAh told him.
"No,actually I don't have any feelings for you anymore. Just give it up.",he
said and then he left.

MiSo sat down in a chair. She was feeling something for DongWan~ she actually
liked him a lot~ but her heart was unsure again. DongWan walked in and saw MiSo
sitting with a thoughtful expression.
"MiSo"
"Huh? What?"
"Ready to go to the TV station?"

**At the TV station**
MiSo was backstage and infront of ShinHwa's dressing room.

It was a lot more busy backstage than she could have imagined.

The door opened and the guys came out.
"Hey,how do we look?",MinWoo said as he did several fashion poses.
"You guys look great.",MiSo smiled.
"So,how is it being back here?",Dongwan asked.
"It's so cool~~I'm finally getting to see what happens before a show."
Then,YuRi from fin.k.l walked up to DongWan and greeted him.
"Hi YuRi. This is my friend,MiSo."
"Hi~nice to meet you. Congrats on all of your success.",MiSo said.
"Hmmm~~hi.",YuRi said,but her eyes were full of disapproval.
"You guys have to go on,come on,let's go together.",YuRi said to DongWan,as she
pulled him away,completely ignoring MiSo.
"Um,ok. See you after the show,MiSo.",DongWan said,as he got pulled away.
"Ok..",MiSo said.
She sighed~~ < Aigo...what do I do? >

After the show, MiSo was waiting outside of ShinHwa's room,when the other guys
came out.
"DongWan's still in there,but he said he'll be out in a minute.",Andy said.
"We have to go now,so we'll see you around.",Jin said.
"Ok~bye OppaDeul!",MiSo said.
"Bye.",they said as they left.
DongWan came out a minute or two later.
"MiSo~did you have fun today?"
"Yeah~I did."
"So~now that you've seen all of me,will you go out with me?"
< Aigo~I need to be honest with him. I like him a lot,but because of his
status...it keeps holding me back >
"I still can't. Our worlds are so different...and...I'm sorry."
MiSo walked off,when DongWan said,"I love you."
MiSo stopped,and hesitated,but then she kept walking.

MiSo's mind was someplace else on her way home. She walked into the apartment
and went to her room. She sat down and sighed,and thought about the past day.
She looked at her desk and saw that another letter from JinHee had come. She
picked it up,opened it and started reading.

MiSo~~

Hi~JinHee Unni here! It was so nice to hear from you! Everything is ok here.
Oppa is doing better,his wrist hurts less now. I'm.....

MiSo heard the phone ring and her aunt say,"What?! Are you sure?",and then some
yes's and no's and then she hung up. MiSo came out of her room and saw the
expression on her aunt's face.
"Emo,what's wrong?"
"MiSo~I have bad news."
"What?? What is it???"
"It's about your friend,JinHee......she died yesterday in a car accident. Her
car was hit by a drunk driver."

< What??? >
"No~this can't be!! There has to be some kind of mistake!!",MiSo exclaimed as
tears came into her eyes.
"Not JinHee.....why.....",MiSo said as she sunk to the floor crying. Her aunt
hugged her and tried to comfort her.
< JinHeeUnni.... >
Since JinHee was MiSo's best friend,her aunt allowed her to fly back to the
States for the funeral. She met up with her friends at the airport. All of them
were in tears when MiSo came out of the gate. The spent the whole night talking
about everything that had happened,as well as old times.

The funeral was the next day,and MiSo's heart was all broken. During the
service,MiSo's eyes kept dripping with tears. After the service,JinHee's Oppa
came over and they comforted each other. When everyone left,SoHee,Jenny,HaNa,and
MiSo stayed to say their last goodbyes. They went one by one and MiSo was last.

< JinHeeUnni,I'm so sorry that I wasn't there. I owe almost everything to you.
You were the one who always comforted me when I came to tears because of the
memories of my parents. >
She stopped to wipe her tears.

MiSo put flowers down and left.

**2 days after the funeral**
MiSo had a few hours left before her flight,so she went to visit her parents'
graves.
As she walked in the cemetary,the memories of her parents flooded her mind. She
saw their graves and put flowers down on both graves,and bowed.
< Mom,Dad,I miss you so much! I can't believe I've gotten through without you.
Now JinHeeUnni is up there with you. I know that we'll be together again
someday. I wish that you were all here now... >
MiSo sat down and cried.

MiSo was at the airport with her friends,waiting to board her flight.
"MiSo,it was nice to see you again,but unfortunetly in this situation.",JinHee's
Oppa said.
"Yes,that's true. Take care.",MiSo said.
Her and her friends hugged.
"Jahl-ga."
"Bye~",MiSo walked in and turned around and waved.

MiSo arrived at the airport and her aunt took her home. MiSo went to her room
and unpacked her things. When she was finished,she layed down on the bed,and
tried to fall asleep,while her mind was swimming with thoughts.

**The next day~Friday**
MiSo got up and ate breakfast and then went back to her room. Her aunt had
gotten her excused from school and work for the entire week,to give her some
time to recover. She got dressed and decided to head out. She took the subway
and then a taxi to NamSan Mountain. As she looked at the city,from the
mountain,she sighed and tried to deal with all that had happened. She had gone
to NamSan Mountain before,when she had found out the truth about HwanHee,so she
hoped being there would help her like before. After an hour or two,MiSo went
back home. She walked in and saw that her aunt had gone to work. She ate some
lunch and went to her room to look for her books.

She was looking in her desk and saw JinHee's letter still on her desk.
< Oh~I completely forgot about this >
She picked it up,sat down,and started reading from where she left off.

.....I'm doing ok. I'm glad that you're doing so well!^^ I'm still dating
TaeYoung and everything is good between us. Glad to hear that there's a guy you
have an interest in~!^^ Who knows~maybe he's the "one". Haha~I know what you're
thinking!
But just remember,love doesn't happen by accident~it's fate. Everything happens
for a reason. If someone loves you,and you feel something for them,nothing and
no one should hold you back from showing how you really feel. Well~~I have to go

MiSo's eyes were filled with tears as she finished the letter. She looked at the
date of the letter.....

MiSo wiped away her tears and thought about JinHee's words.....

DongWan and the rest of the guys walked out of school. DongWan was still hurt by
MiSo rejecting his proposal,even though it happened a week before,it didn't hurt
any less than it had a week earlier. He hadn't seen her all week,and he had
hoped that he would. The guys were debating where to go hang out that day,when
MiSo walked up to them.
"Hi OppaDeul."
"Hey MiSo. Haven't seen you all week. Are you doing better?",HyeSung asked.
"Yeah,I am,thanks. Um~can I talk to DongWan for a second?"
DongWan was surprised,and the guys agreed and left them alone.
"Hi Oppa."
"Hi."
"So~how have you been these days?",MiSo asked.
"Good."
"Oh...."
"..."
They both looked down and didn't say anything. Then they heard some
struggling,and looked at a nearby bush and heard,
"Hey,move your head,I can't see anything."
"Well,move your foot off of my hand!"
"Ow~~come on you guys! We can't hear what's going on!"
Then Andy fell from behind the bush and flashed a nervous smile
~embarrasssed,while the other members stuck their heads out from behind the
bush. They flashed embarrassed smiles,and casually walked off,leaving DongWan
and MiSo alone for real.(haha^^)
"Oppa,I've done a lot of thinking........and....."
DongWan looked at her intently.
"I wanna know if you propose is still up."
DongWan was surprised at this,but got over it and said,
"Yes,for you it is. MiSoYah~I'm not a player,and I won't play you. I'll never
break your heart. I told you that I loved you,and I meant it. And I still do."
"Well~I accept it now. I'm sorry that it took me this long."
DongWan went up to MiSo and hugged her tight. MiSo was surprised,and happy at
the same time and hugged him back.

** 1 YEAR LATER **

MiSo was getting ready to go meet DongWan at the TV studio,when ShinAe called.
She talked to her for a little bit,and told her that she would call her later.
It was her and DongWan's 1 year anniversary and ShinHwa happened to be up for
#1. She looked at the calendar < Wow~time has gone by so fast! >
DongWan,Eric,and HyeSung had graduated,and MiSo was still living with her aunt
and working at the PCBang,and was in her 2nd year of high school.
< Life is going good.... >

She ran into the station because her taxi got caught in traffic. She ran back
and wished the guys luck as they were about to go on to the stage. As MiSo
watched them perform,it made her remember all that had happened in.
Moving to Korea....her first day at K.F.S....meeting the
guys......HwanHee.....JinHee......and DongWan. Even though she had some sad
memories,she had many happy ones,so as she thought about the past year,she
smiled.
Since the guys were up for #1,MiSo was a little nervous for them! ^^ After the
song ended,the MCs came out and asked both singers some questions,then the
totals came out..........

MiSo cheered from backstage,along with the rest of ShinHwa's crew.

After the show,the guys came back and MiSo congratulated them.

MiSo and DongWan left the studio and went to NamSan Mountain for their 1 year
anniversary date. MiSo had been there when she was sad,but her and DongWan went
there a lot and made many more happy memories there. NamSan Mountain became
their favorite spot. When they got to the top,they looked down at the city.
DongWan held MiSo's hand and put a ring on her finger. Then,as he held up his
hand with the ring in it,he said,"This is our couple ring. This way,we'll always
be together....MiSoYah~ saranghae." MiSo looked at him,and said,"I love you
,too."
"Wow,who would've guessed that in the end,we would be together?",he said.
MiSo looked at him,smiled and said,"Love doesn't happen by accident,it's fate."
They smiled at each other,then as they held hands,they kissed and looked out
into the night sky.
