**'~Player In Love'~'

Na Ri took in a deep breath and slowly walked off the house and headed for school. It was actually her first day of school at this new high school. Her family had just moved here because of her father's new company.

'Come on Na Ri, it's now or never.' Na Ri thought to herself and walked into the school. She was headed for her first class when she bumped into someone pretty hard that she ended up falling to the floor. Na Ri was about to get up when she noticed a hand in front of her. She slowly looked up and saw the one of the cutest guys she had ever seen in her life.

"Im sorry, I guess I wasn't watching where I was going." The guy said helping her up and flashing her a big smile.

"It's ok, I wasn't really watching either." Na Ri said smiling also.

"Hi, I'm Shin Hye Sung." Hye Sung said sticking out his hand.

"Hi, I'm Kim Na Ri." Na Ri said shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you. Are you new here?? I don't think I've ever seen you before cause I definitely remember if I ever seen you." Hye Sung said flirtatiously causing Na Ri to blush.

"Oh, I'm new here."

"I see, oh, the bell's gonna. I'll see you around." Hye Sung said waving and ran to his class. Na Ri waved back and also ran for her class. She made it in through the door just before the bell rang. She quickly bowed to the teacher and sat in an empty seat.

"Psh.."

"Ummm...yeah??" Na Ri asked to the girl sitting next to her.

"I'm sorry but do you have a pen I can borrow??"

"Sure, here you go." Na Ri smiled as she handed her the pen.

"Thanks. You must be new here, I'm Nina." Nina said with a friendly smile.

"Hi, I'm Na Ri."

"Nina!! Na Ri!! Is there something you'd like to share with the class?!?!" The teacher yelled angrily. The two girls quickly shook their heads and looked down giggling to themselves.
Na Ri pretty much had all her classes with Nina and they became friends pretty fast.

"Oh my gosh, you know what??" Nina said while walking out of the school with Na Ri.

"What??"

"You're like the talk of the school." Nina said happily.

"Hmm...what do you mean??" Na Ri asked confused.

"ALL the guys are talking about you. They all think you're so hot and everything." Nina said with a huge smile on her face.

"You're kidding, right?? I'm so ugly though." Na Ri said blushing.

"Hehehe...yeah right you babo." Nina said hitting Na Ri playfully. Na Ri was just about to hit Nina back when somebody gently grabbed her hand. Na Ri looked up surprised and was even more surprised to find Hye Sung smiling at her.

"Ey, you shouldn't be hitting people, that's not nice." Hye Sung said chuckling.

"Ummm...we were just playing...I didn't mean to..." Na Ri started stuttering.

"Hahaha...I was just kidding." Hye Sung said laughing.

"Oh." Na Ri said looking down and blushing.

"I'd like you to meet my friends. This is Minwoo, Eric, JunJin, Andy, and Dongwan." Hye Sung said gesturing to his friends.

"Hey." They all said at once.

"Hi." Na Ri said giving them a smile. "This is my friend, Nina."

"Hi." Nina said not exactly too nicely which really surprised Na Ri.

"Hey." They all said once again.

"Na Ri yah, I have to get going but I'll see you around ok??" Hye Sung said and gently kissed her hand. He then walked out of the school with his friends.

"You know Shin Hye Sung??" Nina asked.

"Ummm...not really. I just kinda bumped into him this morning but...isn't he so cute??" Na Ri said smiling.

"Yes he is but don't get involved with him Na Ri."

"Huh?? Why not??" Na Ri asked confused.

"*sigh* Those six guys are the biggest player in the world. They've pretty much dated all the girls in this school, actually they probably dated all the girls in the city. They're all big players, especially Hye Sung." Nina said in a serious tone.

"But...they don't...Hye Sung doesn't seem like that type. He's so..."

"Nice?? Yeah, I know. That's how he gets all the girls. He's really nice to them and totally sweet talks them. Na Ri yah, I don't want you to get hurt, I'm just watching out for you."

"I know. Thanks but don't worry. I can take care of myself." Na Ri said as they walked home together.

"You were right Hye Sung, she is hot." Dong Wan said with a big grin on his face.

"Hahaha...yeah I know." Hye Sung said laughing.

"But you know...practically all the guys at school have a thing for her and I heard that she's damn picky with guys or something." Eric said.

"It don't matter. I probably could have her anytime I want. I alwayz get my girl." Hye Sung said confidently.

"Oh, really?? You really think you could make her yours??" Eric said raising his eyebrow.

"Of course."

"Then why don't we make a little bet and see." Eric suggested.

"A bet??" Hye Sung asked.

"Yeah, if you get Na Ri to be your girl, then I owe you a $100 but if you don't, you owe me." Eric said.

"Fine, I'm in." Hye Sung said laughing.

"You guyz...that's not really nice..." Andy butted in.

"Yeah, I mean, if she knew. She'd probably be pretty hurt." JunJin said as he backed up Andy.

"Don't worry. She won't ever find out." Hye Sung said confidently and shook on the bet with Eric. "You better have my $100 ready Eric Mun." Hye Sung said laughing.

About a week had passed and Na Ri and Hye Sung had become pretty good friends.

"Na Ri yah, let's go take a walk in the park." Hye Sung said as he dragged her towards the park from the movie theater. Hye Sung hadn't asked Na Ri out yet but he was planning to today.

"Ok ok." Na Ri as she laughed at Hye Sung's cute behavior.

"Wait, let's stop here. Sit on the bench."

"Ok." Na Ri replied and sat on the bench. She waited for Hye Sung to sit next to her but instead, he got down on his knee and held her hand. Na Ri went into complete shock.

"W-what..."

"Na Ri yah, I really like you and I want to be more than just friends with you. Will you be mine??" Hye Sung said giving her his best smile. Na Ri's heart slowly started to melt. All the bad things that she had heard about Hye Sung just flew out of her head. Na Ri slowly nodded her head to Hye Sung's question.

"Really??"

"Yeah." Na Ri said blushing. Hye Sung took out a couple ring and placed it on her finger. Then he got up, pulled Na Ri off the bench, and held her tightly in his arms.

"Thank you." Hye Sung whispered into Na Ri's ear. Na Ri just wrapped her arms around Hye Sung in response.
The next day, Hye Sung and Na Ri walked into the school hand in hand. All the girls stared at Na Ri in jealousy and all the guys stared at Hye Sung in jealousy. Hye Sung walked Na Ri to her class and then walked back to his.

"Ey, I heard the news." Eric said to Hye Sung not too happily.

"Yup yup." Hye Sung said happily. "Somebody owes me some money." Hye Sung said laughing his head off.

"Aish, shut up. You know what?? Why don't we change the bet a little and make it a little more fun." Eric said with a devious smile on his face.

"What do you have in mind??" Hye Sung said interested.

"You getting Na Ri was too easy so why don't we see how long you could keep her."

"What?? I'm not getting you." Hye Sung said confused.

"What was the longest relationship that a player like you have had?? Maybe two weeks?? If you could put up with Na Ri for a month then I'll give you $300 but if you can't, you owe me."

"Ha!! You're on man!!!" Hye Sung said happily at the thought about getting $300 bucks. The bell finally rang and another day of school started.

"Na Ri yah, I have to stay after school today. Are you gonna be ok walking home by yourself??" Nina asked.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Bye Nina." Na Ri said and walked out of the school. She was just crossing the street when someone grabbed her hand. She jumped in surprise but quickly calmed down when she realized it was Hye Sung.

"I'll walk you home madam." Hye Sung said playfully.

"Thank you sir." Na Ri said playing along and laughing. They both walked home together talking and joking around each other. Hye Sung was really surprised to find himself actually talking with a girl. He usually would never listen to their little stupid talk and would just pretend to listen but there was something different about Na Ri. They both finally reached Na Ri's house.

"I guess I better get going." Na Ri said quietly.

"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow." Hye Sung said unusually shyly. He slowly reached down to kiss Na Ri's lips when Na Ri suddenly pulled back. Hye Sung quickly opened his eyes in surprise. Na Ri smiled at Hye Sung's shocked expression. She slowly brought her mouth close to Hye Sung's ear.

"I don't kiss a guy that fast." Na Ri said teasingly and walked into her house leaving Hye Sung stunned, confused, and dazed. After awhile, Hye Sung finally snapped out of it and started walking towards his house.
'Did she just tease me?? No girl has ever teased me like that. They'd be so happy if I kissed them and they'd always want more. She's so different. Why do I feel so different when I'm with her. I get this weird warm feeling in my heart. I don't get it. Am I falling for her...'

*Three weeks later*
Three weeks had already gone by but Hye Sung wasn't the least bit tired of Na Ri. It was actually the direct opposite. He found himself wanting to see her, hold her, and be with her more and more each day.

"Hye Sung!!! Why you drinking alone like that?!?! All those girls over there want a piece of you on the dance floor man!!" Dong Wan yelled at Hye Sung coming back from the dance floor to the table. The six of them had decided to hang out at a night club. Hye Sung had wanted to stay with Na Ri but she was busy studying.

"Leave me alone." Hye Sung said pretty drunk.

"Ey man, what's wrong??" Dong Wan asked confused.

"I'm just so confused. I...I actually like being with Na Ri. Whenever I'm not with her, I miss her so much and we've been going for about three weeks not and I'm not sick of her. I feel so happy...all warm inside...I just don't get it. Why do I feel like this?? What does she have that's making me like this?? I don't get this feeling Dong Wan." Hye Sung said gulping down another cup of beer.
Dong Wan was so surprised to hear this coming from the Shin Hye Sung, he was one of the biggest players around. But it seemed like now, the big mighty player had fallen in love.

"Hye Sung ah, stop drinking." Dong Wan said taking the beer away.

"Tell me Dong Wan...what's wrong with me??"

"Hye Sung ah, I think you're in love..."

*Meanwhile on the dance floor*

Eric was also completely drunk. He just grabbed anyone near him and held her in his arms.

"Eric, you dork!! Let me go!!!" Nina yelled trying to get out of his arms.

"Nina?? Hahaha...what are you doing here??" Eric asked pitifully drunk.

"None of your business. Let me go." Nina said pushing him away. She was about to walk away from when she noticed Hye Sung also completely drunk at a nearby table.

"Do you know why Hye Sung's all drunk and looks all sad??" Eric said laughing stupidly.

"Why??"

"Hehehe...cause he's gonna lose $300."

"What are you talking about??"

"See, we made this little bet. He had to ask Na Ri out and stay with her for a full month. Hehehe...do you know how long that is for Hye Sung?? He's all drunk and sad cause when he loses the bet, he's gonna have to owe me $300!! Hehehe...do you know how much $300 is??" Eric said counting his fingers. Nina was completely shocked and disgusted. She pushed Eric hard and ran out of the club. She grabbed a taxi and headed for Na Ri's house.

*Next Day*

Hye Sung had been looking for Na Ri the whole day but he couldn't find her anywhere. She had already left for school when he went to pick her up, she wasn't anywhere near the usual spots that he met her, and he couldn't find her after school either. Hye Sung was confused and worried, school was out so he decided to go to Na Ri's house.

"Hey Hye Sung!! Where you going in such a hurry?!?!" Eric yelled catching up to him.

"Ey Eric. I'm sorry but I gotta go find Na Ri. I haven't seen her the whole day and she won't even answer her cell." Hye Sung said worriedly. As soon as Eric heard Hye Sung words, he felt guilt wash over him.

"Hye Sung ah, I think there's something you should know." Eric said quietly.

"Can we talk about it later, I have to go see Na Ri."

"It's about Na Ri."

"What about Na Ri??" Hye Sung asked quickly.

"Last night at the club, I was completely drunk and I saw Nina and I kinda...ummm...told her about the bet." Eric said looking down.

"YOU WHAT?!?! THAT WASN'T PART OF THE *&*$%#%$$ DEAL!!!!" Hye Sung yelled angirly.

"I'm really sorry man. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. Why are you so mad anywayz??" Eric asked confused. Hye Sung had never really cared about hurting a girl's feelings. He broke their hearts everyday.

"Cause I love her!!!!" Hye Sung blurted out.

"What?!?!" Eric was shocked. Hye Sung had never LOVED a girl before and he'd never say something so out loud. "Are you serious??"

"*sigh* yeah, I think I'm in love with her." Hye Sung said calming down.

"Ey, I'm sorry man. I didn't know." Eric said feeling more guilty.

"It's ok. I gotta go man." Hye Sung said heading for the exit.

"Hye Sung ah!! You wanna call off the bet??"

"Yeah." Hye Sung replied and got in his car and drove to Na Ri's house.
Hye Sung reached Na Ri's house and ran up to the door. Na Ri came to the door and opened it. As soon as she saw who it was, she tried to close the door but Hye Sung was faster. He stopped the door and let himself in. Na Ri ignored him and tried to go upstairs but Hye Sung grabbed her hand and turned her around.

"We need to talk."

"I don't have anything to talk about with you." Na Ri said coldly and turned around but Hye Sung pulled her back.

"Na Ri yah, I don't know what you've heard but..."

"You know what I've heard?!?! I heard that the only reason why you went out with me id because of a stupid bet!!! And as if that wasn't bad enough, I heard that the only reason why you've stayed with me this long is because of the stupid bet!!! How could you Shin Hye Sung?!?! How could you?!?!" Na Ri yelled angrily as tears started to form in her eyes.

"No, Na Ri yah...please hear me out."

"Tell me it's not true Hye Sung!!! Tell me Hye Sung!!! Tell me that it's all a lie!! Tell me there was no bet!!"

"....." Hye Sung didnt know what to say. Everything she had said was true.

"Go home Hye Sung." Na Ri said coldly as tears fell from her eyes. She turned around and was almost at the stairs when Hye Sung wrapped his arms around her. She tried to get out of his hold but he was too strong for her.

"Na Ri yah, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Everything you've said is true. I asked you out cause of a bet but things changed. I changed. I never really thought that I could find a girl that I'd love so much that I'd be afraid to lose her, to not have her in my life but then you came into my life and showed me how wrong I was. Na Ri yah, I love you. I love you so much. I'm so sorry that I made that bet but the bet's off. Please don't leave me. I called off the bet." Hye Sung begged Na Ri as tears also threatened his eyes.

"It doesn't matter if the bet's off now. The fact is that you made the bet and that you had been lying to me all this time. How could I trust you again?? How could I believe that a cold hearted player like you could change??" Na Ri said with tears streaming down her face. Na Ri's words had hit Hye Sung's heat strong. His grip on her slowly loosened. Na Ri took that chance and ran up to her room and locked the door. After Hye Sung finally snapped back to reality, he ran up to her room and knocked on her door but she wouldn't open it. He waited for hours but the door didn budge an inch. It was soon time for her parents to come home so Hye Sung left with his heart broken into a million pieces.
A week had gone by and Na Ri avoided Hye Sung everyday and never talked to him on the phone or whenever he came to her house. Hye Sung tried everything to talk to her but she simply would not listen.
It was another day of school but something was wrong. Na Ri wasn't at school that day. Hye Sung was afraid that something might be wrong with her so he ran around the school looking for Nina.

"Nina!!!" Hye Sung yelled when he finally found her.

"Ummm...hi Hye Sung." Nina said uncomfortably.

"Where's Na Ri?? Why isn't she at school today??" Hye Sung asked frantically.

"......." Nina didn't say anything and looked at the floor instead.

"Answer me!!!!!" Hye Sung yelled.

"I'm sorry. I can't tell you. I promised."

"Please, Nina, please tell me. Is something wrong with her?? Is she ok?? Please I need to know. I love her. I love her, Nina." Hye Sung begged. Nina felt so bad when she saw the pain and love in Hye Sung's eyes.

"*sigh* Hye Sung, I'm sorry but Na Ri's not going to come to school anymore. She's at the airport right now. She decided to study in America. She's leaving in an hour."

"What?!?!" Hye Sung didn't even say bye to Nina and ran towards the parking lot. He ran into his car and drove as fast as he could to the airport.
Once he got there, he ran inside to look for Na Ri. He ran to the gate that was for people leaving to America. He looked around frantically looking for Na Ri, praying that he wasn too late. He felt his heart jump when he found her entering the gate.

"Na Ri yah!!!!!" Hye Sung yelled as he ran towards her. Na Ri's eyes went huge from surprise when she saw Hye Sung. Hye Sung ran over to her and got down on his knees. People were slowly starting to watch the two.

"Hye Sung, what are you doing?? Get up."

"Na Ri yah, I'm so sorry for what I've done. I was such a fool. I'd change the past if I could but I can. But please...please don't leave me. I've never felt this way towards anyone before. I love you with all my heart, I'm going crazy when I'm not with you. Please, don't leave me. I know that I've lost your trust but I'm going to do whatever I can to gain your trust once again so please don't leave me, I love you." Hye Sung said looking Na Ri straight in the eye. The pain, regret, and love could be seen clearly through his eyes.

"Get up." Na Ri said. Those were the only two words that came out of her mouth when Hye Sung had poured out his heart to her. Hye Sung's already broken heart throbbed in pain. He slowly got up as tears slowly formed in his eyes as he looked down. He was about to walk away when he felt Na Ri's hand on his arm. He quickly turned around and face her.

"I love you Shin Hye Sung." Na Ri said smiling. Hye Sung was speechless. He pulled Na Ri into his arms and placed his lips gently on hers. Everyone at the airport started cheering for the two couple.
After the kiss, Hye Sung gently lowered his mouth to Na Ri's ear and whispered.

"I love you Kim Na Ri. Alwayz and forever..."
