"Showbusiness Is My Life!!!"
Derek Sherinian (aka Nicky Lemons) was inducted into the band for the Awake tour, having to replace long time Dream Theater keyboardist Kevin Moore. Derek's talents are shown on A Change of Seasons, Falling Into Infinity, and Once in A LIVETime. Derek's work can also be found on various Alice Cooper and Kiss albums. Derek was replaced in the band by Jordan Rudess for Metropolis Part 2. Jordan worked with John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy on the Liquid Tension Experiment project.
