Forever

As I sit here alone
I think about the present, the past,
And the things yet to come.
I wonder about you
If you will always be in my life
Or if I shall never see you again.
I think about the times we've had
And pray they won't ever end.
I know I love you.
And I know deep down you love me too.
But still the thought of us parting
Makes me blue.
So as you leave me
I'll pray that in our heart and thoughts
We will stay together.
And I'll keep in mind
