Silver Moon

The full silver moon
Shines like a mother
Over the thousands;
Souls sleeping, unknowing

Saints and sinners,
Loved and unloved
Parents, husbands, wives, children
Sleeping side by side at peace

Carressed by wispy clouds,
The full pale silver moon
Shines atop a hill
unblemished and silent it sleeps
Close but without a sound.
