His palms were sweating.

She could tell he was nervous. She was too.

So many thoughts were wandering throughout her mind at the moment. Like what she was going to say to the others. What if they wouldn't go with her and Tidus to make an attempt to defeat Maester Widel? What would Yuna back her argument up with? She already knew Tidus wouldn't help her, because he himself didn't want her to go. It made her feel weak. But it didn't change her feelings for him. She knew he loved her with everything he had, or he wouldn't have come.

Yuna breathed in shakily.

"You nervous?" Tidus asked. He didn't know what else to ask. He hated the awkward silence that had been present between them, so he had to ask something.

"Huh?" He had taken her out of her train of thought, and she looked up at him, still walking along the long corridors of the hotel. "Are you nervous?" He repeated. At first Yuna was confused and didn't know what he meant. But it soon hit her, and she snapped back to reality. "O-oh..." She stuttered, looking at the floor while she walked. "A little. I'm not sure what I'm going to say." Yuna said. She almost felt like it was useless to even explain it to him.

Tidus just sighed.

Yuna really didn't want to ask, but she had to. She didn't want to feel alone in this. She gripped his slippery hand a little harder.

Yuna knew why he was nervous. He didn't know what to do. Whether to support her decision or not if the others disagree to journey with them.

He cursed silently to himself.

"Will... you help me?" Yuna asked quietly, closing her eyes, afraid of what the answer was going to be.

There was a long pause.

"Uh..." Tidus began. He wanted to help her at everything she did, but he didn't know what to do now. He didn't really want to support her decision to be with him while he attempted to achieve his task, but he didn't want her to feel like he didn't love her.

He stopped walking, halting Yuna from walking as well.

"Why do you need help?" He asked. "I mean... what if the others don't... want to come with us?" Yuna asked, looking more innocent than he had ever seen her before. He breathed in deep. "Then... you can stay here." He said quite quickly.

She knew it.

She knew it.

She knew he would say that. She just sighed in disappointment.

"Yuna, c'mon..." He said in a gentle but rueful tone. She didn't reply. She didn't know how to respond. She didn't let the converstation go any further. She got what he meant, and that's all she needed to make sure of. Yuna slowly turned and began to walk in front of him. Tidus sighed. He could tell she was probably mad at him. "Yuna." He began. Yuna stopped walking. "Yes?" She asked politely. "I'm sorry." He finished. He was sorry. He didn't want to disappoint her. Yuna just kept walking. Tidus followed close behind.

"Hey! You done training, finally?!" Rikku asked gleefully. Yuna slightly smiled, and then nodded.

There was everyone. Everyone was eating breakfast, she supposed. "You guys have somethin' to eat, ya?" Wakka said, taking a bite of a pancake he had on his plate. Yuna slightly shook her head. "That's all right." She stated. "I'm not hungry either." Tidus added with a smile. "All right. Your loss!" Wakka said.

"Everybody..." Yuna began. Almost immediately everyone looked up at her. "What is it, Yunie?" Rikku asked. "I have something to explain." She looked at Tidus, and Tidus nodded a signal to go on ahead. Yuna looked at everyone, and continued. "Tidus... has something to tell you." She smirked at Tidus. There was no way she was going to try to explain something she didn't really know about. "Ah, fine." He smiled back, stepping up in front of Yuna. "Well, it started like this..." He said.

When Tidus was done explaining Yuna butted in. "I want to help him. And... he won't let me come unless you guys come along. And I truly want to help him. So... please..." Yuna put her hand to her chest and looked at everyone's expression.

Everyone had a befuddled look on their face. "Yuna, I'm sorry, but... no." Lulu said. Yuna looked at Lulu. "But why?" Lulu got up from where she was sitting. "It's too dangerous! If something were to happen to you, I don't know what I would do. So, I'm going to have to say no." Lulu repeated. "Please?!" Yuna's voice raised a notch. "No!" Lulu immediately responded. No one else said anything.

"Why not?" Rikku finally repeated Yuna. Yuna looked at her, surprised at her words. "I mean... what if Tidus was Chappu, Lulu? Wouldn't you want to help him?" Rikku asked. Lulu sneered at Rikku for comparing Tidus and Chappu together. "This is different, Rikku!" Lulu quickly replied. "How?!" Rikku asked. Lulu was lost at words.

Everyone was lost at words.

"Lulu..." Yuna approached Lulu. "I love Tidus... just as you did Chappu..." Yuna said, not hesitating to say any words at the moment.

Tidus just listened. Her words touched him so deeply. He was glad to hear that she loved him. But he guessed deep down he already knew that. Just because she felt a little anger towards him didn't mean that she didn't still love him.

Yuna slowly placed a hand on Lulu's shoulder from behind. "Please?" She asked. Lulu didn't reply. Just then Kimahri stood up. "Kimahri willing to support Yuna at anything Yuna wishes." He commented. Lulu looked at Kimahri. But this time she didn't have a sneering or grimaced look on her face. Wakka then stood up. "Yuna... this is no time for jokes, ya?" Yuna remembered that comment too well and quickly replied, "This is not a joke. I am being as serious as I can. I can handle this. I want to help him... so much..." Yuna slightly lowered her head.

Tidus had a saddened expression, and slowly approached her, putting a hand on her shoulder.

Yuna removed her hand from Lulu's shoulder, and lifted her head. "I'll go with you, Yunie." Rikku said. "Kimahri too." Kimahri added. Lulu and Wakka were silent. Yuna looked at Tidus. "Yuna." Yuna heard Lulu's voice. "I will go. But... if anything happens to where your life is deeply threatened, we will all turn back. I don't know about you, but we will." She looked at Tidus with her tinted burgandy eyes. Tidus just nodded. "You ain't leavin' me out, then. Although I don't agree with this, I'm goin' where Lu goes." He smiled at Lulu, but Lulu didn't smile back. She just sighed.

Lulu and Wakka seemed unseparatable. They were together now, and Lulu seemed more happier than she had ever been before when she was with Wakka. Only now was not a perfect time to be happy.

Yuna hugged Lulu, and smiled. "Thank you guys." She smiled. Lulu slowly wrapped her arms around Yuna. She wasn't crazy about this idea at all, but at least she was supporting Yuna. "You know I don't want this." Lulu replied. "I know, and I'm sorry. But it would be so much better if you came along. And I thank you so much for it." If it hadn't been for that comment Rikku had made about Chappu then Yuna didn't think Lulu would ever accept.

"Hey, guys..." Tidus didn't mean to break up the peaceful moment, but hey! They had to get going pretty damn soon to get this mission completed. "We gotta go soon." He scratched the back of his head. "How soon?" Lulu asked, escaping from Yuna's grasping embrace. "Sometime this morning." Tidus replied. It was 10:37 A.M. Lulu looked at the clock. "Well, we didn't bring any luggage. I guess it would be safe to leave after we're done eating." Lulu said. She looked at Yuna. "You have to eat something too. Today is going to be a long day." Lulu gave a slight smile. Yuna returned it and bowed happily. "Thank you." Yuna thanked Lulu for putting up with her problems. Lulu nodded and sat back down to finish eating. Yuna and Tidus picked a two- person table to sit down at, and they went to get their breakfast.

Over at the breakfast buffet, Yuna felt very shaky. Her whole body trembled with weakness. She knew of the cause though. She had done all that battling without eating anything first, and her body just couldn't handle it. She breathed in deep while she stood alongside Tidus getting her food.

Tidus, noticing her ungracefullness, asked, "Hey, you okay?" He noticed how she was handling the plate she was holding. "I- I'm fine." Yuna slightly smiled. "You want me to get your food?" Tidus asked. Yuna slowly shook her head. "It's okay, really. I'm just a little dizzy from doing all that fighting without eating first." She smiled.

Oh yeah, he thought. He forgot to tell her to eat something before they went out to the battlefield!

"Man! Sorry! I should've reminded you to eat something." He said in a sorrowful tone. "No... it's my fault. Heh, I should've thought about it." She said. "Let me get your food to make it up to ya!" He smiled cheerfully. Yuna giggled. "It's okay. I have enough energy to do it myself." She smiled up at him. "Okaaay, I didn't think you'd -want- to turn down the offer!" He slightly laughed. Yuna continued to giggle.
