Hello! Chapter six is up! And, r-a-perks, I thank you for your wonderful review, but please don't expect perfect from me! lol! I'll get to the part where it explains why Maester Widel wants to cause chaos and destruction upon Spira and all that! I'm only 13 years old and my brain only works to a certain extent! lol ^^

~*~**~**~*~

Black. At least for a moment.

Clouds and blue.

His eyesight was coming in pretty quickly.

He blinked a few times, trying to concentrate on the quiet environment.

When he was able to see clearly, he carefully studied his surroundings.

"Luca..." He whispered to himself. he could tell where he was, and he knew where he was. From this point of view he noticed nothing that was any different.

The buildings were the same, the air seemed fresh. But there had to be a catch, right? Where's the broken cities? The polluted air? He could see no destruction at all.

He stood up, wobbly at first. He almost fell right back down.

He didn't remember how he'd gotten here in the first place. Yes, he remembered when he stepped into the gates, but that was it. Any memory after that had been banished from his memory. All he could remember was darkness.

Maybe a dream?

He then sighed, and refused to think about it. Who cared? He was finally home and nothing else mattered at the time.

"Hm... where to go..." He murmured, looking around. The streets he viewed were so empty. There was nothing happening on a beautiful day like this. No blitzball tournaments being celebrated... nothing. The only thing that did crowd the streets of Luca was the humid sun rays, and the still, gentle air.

At first, he didn't know where to turn. He had no idea where this Maester Widel guy lived, for one. And then he remembered Yuna. Well, he'd never forgotten her, but he just realized that she lived in Besaid, not Luca. She was probably there, he hoped.

Now all he had to do was find a ship headed to Besaid. This was an awesome excuse to see Yuna, he thought. To get directions to Maester Widel's place.

So he wasn't -fully- breaking the rules...

Right?

~

Tidus had walked around town for hours. He couldn't find -one- person that knew when a ship was going to sail to Besaid. Maybe it was a boat... agh, he didn't care. He'd had better things on his mind to think about.

But as he asked some of the rare-sighted townspeople, some of them said that there was never going to be another ship headed to Besaid. Nor Kilika, and so on. Tidus had asked why, and their reply... every person's reply was, "Don't you know? Those towns are to be destroyed by the end of this week!" And every time someone said that it would make even more desperate to get to Besaid.

Finally, approaching another Lucan, he said, "Hey, e-excuse me..." The man looked at him. The thing Tidus immediately noticed about the slightly chubby man was the fact that when he saw Tidus, his eyes seemed to almost bulge out of his head. Tidus had to suppress a chuckle.

"Is there anyway back to Besaid?" Tidus asked, reverting his thoughts straight back to Yuna and his mission. "Why would you want to go there?" The man asked, his nose obviously stuffy. "I'm looking for someone..." Tidus explained. "Ah, well I'd be figurin' everybody would have left by now!" The man exclaimed. Tidus smiled. "Really?" The man nodded. "Where would they all go?" Tidus asked. "Any city as big, or larger, than Luca." The man replied.

Just then a wave of relief blew over Tidus. Yuna must've left Besaid already, and Luca was the closest city to Besaid. She had to be here somewhere!

"Why?" Tidus asked. "Didn't you hear? Maester Widel is demolishing any town smaller than Luca because he needs space. Or so he says." The man explained.

What a lame excuse, Tidus thought.

Tidus looked at the ground for a minute.

He wondered where Yuna would have gone if she had moved here?

"Hey... do you know the Lady Summoner Yuna?" Tidus asked. The man's eyes widened. "Shh!" He quieted. "Huh?" Tidus asked. Why would he quiet him? "You really don't know anything! Are you new here?" The man asked. "Uh... yeah." Tidus lied. "So, what's going on?" He added.

"Well, Maester Widel is an Anti-Summoner. He despises summoners, even if they're not considered summoners anymore. Reason being: Maester Widel believes in the Old Yevon, not the New Yevon." The man said. "The Old Yevon?" Tidus asked. "Yeah! The Old Yevon was ruled by the Guado." The man explained. "Okay... but who rules the New Yevon?" Tidus asked. "Ah, a man by the name of Bararai. It's forbidden to call him a Maester." The man explained. "So... this Maester Widel guy is really tough, huh?" Tidus asked. "Very! And you better watch the way you talk about Maester Widel... if a soldier overhears you, you'll be put in prison in a snap!" The man warned. "Sorry." Tidus apologized. He didn't really know why he had apologized...

"Well... anyway, yes I do know Yuna." The man finally answered. "Do you know where she went?" Tidus asked. "Nope. I haven't heard about her in a long time. Ain't got no idea where she might be. I heard she hides her identity so Maester Widel doesn't figure out that she used to be a summoner. If he found out, she'd be immediately executed, or thrown in jail for life!" Whoa, Tidus thought.

The wave of relief that Tidus felt just a few moments ago, quickly faded and turned into a wave of worry and fear. But... maybe she's okay. If no one's heard from her in a long time, she could be doing a good job of hiding herself. But then again... He didn't want to think about it.

"Well... thanks." Tidus slightly nodded, and began to walk away from the man. "No problem, Lad!" The man shouted back. Tidus waved a quick good-bye and began to run. He didn't even know where he was running to. He was just running, hoping to find a clue to where Yuna was... anything...

~

Was it?

Yes! Yes it was!

"Hey, Lulu!" Tidus called out, waving a hand. He had finally found someone that he'd known really well. She would definitely know where Yuna was!

Lulu turned around, surprised to hear her name.

And then she saw him. At first, she looked bewildered. She didn't know how to react, and she wasn't sure if she had even known him.

"E-excuse me?" Lulu stuttered. She wasn't sure what to say.

Tidus laughed and ran up to her.

"Lulu! It's me!" He exclaimed. Lulu's jaw seemed to drop. "What?!" Lulu asked. "No joke! I'm back!" Tidus hoped that she hadn't forgotten him. "But... but... you..." Lulu stammered. Again, lost at words. "I know. I disappeared into the Farplane awhile back, but I'm here now!" He grinned. "O-oh my! But... how?!" Lulu asked. She felt like she was dreaming.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you later... anyway... where's Yuna?" Tidus asked, expecting a straight answer. "I... I don't know. I was just out with her having breakfast and then she left. She's probably at the hotel." Lulu explained, still puzzled and happy that he was back.

"Hotel?" Tidus repeated. "Yes. There's a hotel in Luca, now. Erm... I- I'll take you there! Oh how Yuna will be so pleasantly surprised! I'm sure everyone else will be too!" Lulu smiled. It was the first time Tidus had actually seen Lulu smile so truly. It was kind of nice to see a bright side on this down-to-earth, mysterious woman.

~

They had made it to the hotel, but Lulu had stopped him from entering just yet.

"Wait." She stepped in front of him. "What?!" Tidus asked. He was already starting to get annoyed. All he wanted to do was see Yuna first, -then- he'd let whoever say whatever they wanted.

"Yuna had never forgotten you... We had just been discussing you, in fact." Lulu looked at him.

-So?-

"I surely hope you hadn't forgotten." Lulu said.

-Why would she had said that?!-

"Why do you think I'm here?!" He yelled. He didn't mean to sound so harsh for no reason, but he wasn't in the mood to argue, and his patience was wearing thin.

Lulu didn't reply. She simply nodded and stepped out of Tidus's way.

Inside, it looked like just an ordinary, maybe three star hotel. The lobby was elegant enough and the air smelled nice. Kind of like a flowery lilac smell.

"Follow me." Lulu said, leading Tidus to a nearby elevator.

"I'm assuming we're going to her room, then?" Tidus asked, looking at Lulu. Lulu nodded. "But what if she's taking a shower or something?" He asked. "She already took one before we went out to eat." Lulu explained. "Oh."

"So... in the Farplane... did you happen to see... Chappu, maybe?" Lulu looked at him with her burning eyes. "Uh... yeah, actually!" Tidus replied. "Well? How is he?!" She seemed really anxious to know, and Tidus knew why. "He's fine. He really misses you but he's happy you're still living. Especially in a world without Sin." Tidus began. "But..." "But what?" Lulu quickly cut in. "But he still has his worries, you know. You know, about Maester Widel." Tidus looked at her. Lulu nodded, and looked at the elevator tiles for a moment.

"If only there was some sort of savior..." Lulu sighed, shaking her head.

Great, Tidus thought. She was making him feel more worse than he already had felt. He wasn't supposed to be doing this. He wasn't supposed to be looking for Yuna. He was supposed to be looking for Maester Widel and that was all. He began to ponder on whether he should just turn back now.

No, he told himself.

The elevator reached the fifth floor, and they stepped off, careful not to bump into the people entering the elevator.

"Keep close." Lulu said as she walked along the blue carpeting to their left.

They had soon reached the room 517, and Lulu slightly knocked on the green pastel-colored door with her knuckles. "Yuna?" She called with a light voice. She knocked again. "Yuna? Are you there?" She asked. Tidus tapped his foot and crossed his arms impatiently. "Yuna, I have a surprise for you." Lulu said, smirking at Tidus. Tidus grinned back.

There was still no answer.

"Tell her it's important." Tidus said. Lulu knocked again. "Yuna, it's important!" Her voice was raised a little more loudly, but still, there was no answer.

Lulu sighed. "I wouldn't know where else she would have gone!" Tidus could tell Lulu get slightly anxious. "That's it." Lulu said, reaching into her dress and pulling out a cardkey. She stuck the key into the slip and unlocked the door.

She was slightly hesitant before actually going inside. She peeked in the room, and when she noticed no one, she opened the door all the way.

No one was there.

The bathroom door was open with the lights turned off, and the room was completely empty, besides the fact that Yuna had left some of her dirty clothes lying all around the room. "I... don't know where she's at." Lulu said.

Tidus didn't know how to respond. "You have no idea at all?" He made sure. "I have no idea -at all-." Lulu repeated. "Great." It was all he could think of saying right now. "Do you know where Wakka is? Maybe he knows." Tidus hoped. Oh, did he hope. "Oh, you're right! Maybe Wakka does know something." Lulu said, closing the door and going to room 515. Tidus followed her around like she was some kind of owner to him.

She knocked on the door. "Wakka?! Wakka open up!" She yelled.

Almost immediately footsteps were heard on the other side of the door.

Then the door opened.

Wakka had a toothbrush in his mouth and his eyes turned enormous when he saw Tidus smile back at him and say, "Howdy!" The toothbrush fell from his foamy mouth, and he gasped. "It's you, ya?!" Wakka asked in surprise. "Yup!" Tidus put his hands on his hips. "Whoa!!" Wakka began to laugh and embraced Tidus in a tight bear hug. "It's good you back, ya?!" Then something seemed to hit Wakka.

"Oh yeah..." His voice was now less enthusiastic and he seemed more serious. "I got news, ya?" He said. "Maester Widel's soldiers had captured Yuna a few hours ago. It seems they took her to the prison here..." Wakka said. He sounded helpless. "What?!" Tidus asked. "What does that mean?" Lulu glanced at Tidus, and then turned her view to Wakka. "What's her sentence, and where did you hear of this?!" Lulu asked impatiently. "It was on the news, ya? Her sentence hasn't been decided. You know how long it takes for these guys to get their sentences straight. Last time they captured a summoner, it took a whole month for them to decide!" Wakka explained, trying to be as calm as possible. "Well who told them that she was a summoner?!" Lulu asked. Wakka shrugged. "I don't know!" He said. "How are we going to get her out of there?" Lulu asked, getting more frantic every second. "I don't know that either, ya?! We gotta think of something!" He said, scratching the back of his head.

Wakka looked at the ground, and picked up his toothbrush and headed back to the bathroom. Lulu sighed. "Well we can't just sit around and do -nothing-!" Tidus barked. "We have to think of a plan before we just barge into the prison." Lulu rationally explained, entering the room. Tidus closed the door behind him and followed Lulu into the room.

Lulu sat down on the bed, and began to think.

Tidus paced around the room.

"Have you ever seen the prison?" Tidus asked. "Yes." Lulu answered. "Have you ever been inside?" "No. No one has been inside, only Maester Widel and 'his people'." Lulu replied. "Aren't you considered 'his people'?!" Tidus was getting frustrated. "No. The citizens of Spira are just considered as people, not 'his people'." Lulu looked up at him for a split second and then back down at the floor.

"Well, if you and Wakka could somehow distract the soldiers and stuff within the prison, then I could go find Yuna!" Tidus said cheerfully. "The prison is huge. You'd have to find out which cell she'd be in." Lulu explained. "Hm..." Tidus began to pace around some more.

"I know! I can get into a soldier's outfit, and bring you, Wakka, Rikku and Kimahri in as prisoners! And then while I have you guys cuffed by my side, I can ask if Yuna is in a cell alone, and if she is I'll act like I'm going to lock one of you up with her, and then they'll give me the key to her cell! And after we get Yuna, while I'm walking with all of you guys by my side, I'll just say I'm taking you guys out for some fresh air!" Tidus explained. Lulu just looked at him for a moment. "That may work." Lulu said. "Right! It's our best chance to get Yuna back, I think." Tidus said. "Oh, but where's Rikku and Kimahri?" Tidus asked. "They're in the hotel. Rikku is in room 512, and Kimahri is on the second floor in room 231." Lulu explained. "Great! So let's go get them and tell them the plan, eh?" Tidus suggested. Lulu thought for a moment, and then nodded. She'd rather take on Tidus's plan than just let this opportunity slip.

~

"Could you recite that plan again?" A nervous Rikku looked at Tidus. "I've already retold it like ten times! You don't even have to -do- anything besides walk with me! Just cool it!" Tidus said.

They were in front of the prison's huge front double-doors. Lulu had stitched up a soldier's uniform for Tidus in a matter of five hours. You couldn't even tell who he was with the costume on.

Night had taken fall.

"Maybe we should think this over..." Lulu said. "This plan seems to be rushed." Wakka looked at Lulu. "It's either now or never, ya? Besides, it's a good plan! None of us would of came up with anything better!" Lulu just sighed. "It'll be fine! If everything goes right, then who cares?" Tidus butted in. "And if everything goes -wrong-?" Lulu responded. "It won't! Trust me!"

Well, I hope you enjoyed that chapter! It took me longer to write because I had trouble finding a plot for it ^^;
