David Berg seemed like the average American guy, living in an average American city, with an average condo, an average job, an average car and an average girlfriend. But in his own mind he was not average. He honestly believed that he was more intelligent than most, better looking than most and more capable than most. He knew he was above average. Way above! He just needed to get that one break in life that would put him on top of all the low level scum that he had to put up with in his daily life.

He didn't show his inner feelings, though. He knew deep down that everyone would hate him if they knew what he really thought about himself, and them. His true feelings were kept hidden away for those nights when he was alone and not afraid to be politically incorrect. In fact, to the untrained eye. Dave was a happy camper. No one knew that while outwardly he sobbed for the lost lives the day of the attack on the Twin Towers in New York on 9/11, inwardly, he was thinking about how the attack might benefit him. And although he was the type of guy people came to for advice, no one had a clue how hard he laughed on the inside whenever his colleagues, friends or even his own family screwed up and consulted him. It made him feel good when other people screwed up.

Sometimes he would fantasize about having all the power he could ever want. He liked to think about what he would do. How he would manipulate people. Control them. He would have a harem of young 13 year old girls. He would have anyone who went against him imprisoned or killed. He would make people do everything and anything he wanted. Eventually, the fantasy would have to end and he would have to come back to reality and live his average life again. But the fantasy helped him cope with his life, and of course, no one knew. His fantasies did not really hurt anyone. They were not real!

But one day. One day very soon Dave is going to be shocked as hell to learn that someone did know. Someone did hear and that someone is about to give Dave the chance to live out his fantasies in the real world. The only question is; Where will it take him and will he be able to recover from it? Will he be able to tell the difference between what is really happening and what is just a fantasy? Can he pull himself back or will he be pushed over the edge into insanity?
