At approximately 5 hours driving inland, Georgetown, or Janjangbureh, is located.

Georgetown not only provides a great nature with diverse habitats but also a former slavehouse which can be visited.

Because of the diversity in habitats, f.i. rice-fields and small forests, a large variety of bird species can be seen.

On a lake full-grown with waterlilies, African jacanas or Lilytrotters can be observed.
In the trees Paradise flycatchers and a variety of Sunbirds are present.
