This image circulates since November 2002. Many people think it should be "the photograph of the year". This is the picture od Samuel Alexander Armas, a child, or rather a 21 week old foetus who had to be operated inside the uterus of his/her mother by the surgeon Joseph Bruner. The baby suffered from a disease that we call "Spina bifida" and would not have survived outside the uterus. The Mother, Julie Armed, nurse in obstetrics, heard about the remarkable operations practised by Dr. Bruner whereas the child is always inside the uterus. After leaving the uterus inside  the belly of the mother, the surgeon make a small incision and can  operate the foetus. During the operation, Samuel left his small hand, completely formed, by the opening, and it caught the finger of the surgeon and tightened very firmly. The photo capture this privileged moment in a very clear way. The editor entitled the photograph: "the hand of the hope" and the text said "the small hand of Samuel Alexander Armas appeared out of the uterus of his/her mother for catching the finger of Doctor Bruner like thanking him for the gift for the life."

Now see at this picture...How incredible....
