Demokassette (1999) 1. autumn wore a crown This was the first freebie demo we put together, recorded live on a 4-track. The sound quality is atrocious, some of the levels are fucked up and there is a nasty bass squelch. This is what you get when you don't know how to bounce tracks on a 4-track and decide to karaoke the vocals on an economy home stereo after eating pizza and chugging 4 liters of soda. Pathetic, and of course now that these songs have been re-recorded for The Siege of Eden we no longer have to remember with loathing...still, the version of "Execution Masque" here has a live vintage '83 Metallica feel to it so I've put it up to represent the old school. |
