     BLACK SCREEN

Title: "A Cacophony of Endearing Horrors #29: Rubberband"

     FADE IN:

     EXT. STREET - MIDDAY

A long, empty, flat road, surrounded by nothing.

PAN RIGHT to reveal a MAN standing perfectly motionless
alongside the road, staring blankly at something.

A CAR drives partially into frame, then backs out, then in
again, then out, etc., several times.

The Man just stares and still doesn't move.

PAN RIGHT MORE to reveal the car switching randomly between
     drive and reverse.

The car drives forwards then back, over and over, again and
     again.

FLASHING LIGHTS and the hood of a POLICE CAR pulls into
     frame and stops.

ZOOM OUT to reveal the whole scene. The Man standing
motionless - the car driving back and forth - the police car
with it's lights flashing sitting there.

Suddenly the person driving the car starts screaming:

                              DRIVER
It's not my fault! It's not my
fault I have a rubber band for a
                  neck! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm
                  sor--

     SMASH TO BLACK

     THE END
