This is an announcement for all you content- and image-theifs out there. Even if you think it's harmless to steal someone's hard work, at least consider the fact that it is illegal.
If you want to use something from this website, please ask me first. I most likely will give you permission to use whatever it is you want to use. However, if you download something from the downloads section, you have my complete permission to use what you downloaded, although you do have to link back to DreamQuest.

Censorship

Some of you may find this site offensive. It is beyond my grasp to understand why because it's all very harmless, but if it does, I apologize in advance for it.
Most Internet filters banned this site. And why? Why, oh, why, do I have to put up with the bleepers who thought Internet censorship was a good idea in the first place? Why do I have to put up with those who don't realize how horrible Internet censorship really is?

Requirements

Any browser should do. I kind of expected you to deduct that from the "non-browser-specific www" campaign image. If you are a fellow wed-designer, please consider joining the campaign to make the internet a better, non-browser-discriminating place. I am not being paid to advertize the campaign; I just happen to think it's a really good idea.
If there are some specific requirements for a specific gizmo, you'll find them written quite noticeably on the page the gizmo's on, so no worries, mate. No worries at all.

Why do I do this?

Because I can. you'd be surprized at how much free time I have. Plus, every time I finish a page I get that warm and fuzzy feeling of accomplishment, and it's all worth it.

What is this site for and for whom was it created?

This website is the embodiment of my randomness. But in a good way.
You see, it provides all kinds of information on all kinds of topics. Sometimes it provides a three-page-long rant on a specific topic and sometimes a paragraph on a broad section of topics. In either case, it is meant to interest the reader - hence, you - in a certain thing or idea.
I guess one could sum it up as the cure for the potential couch potatoes.
DreamQuest is meant for audience old enough to reason and young enough to appreciate the delicate humor or randomness. I expect the visitors to be more or less intelligent (i.e. somewhere between the 2+2=4 level and quantum mechanics level).
Most importantly, you must be able to read and interpret written words.
