William Shakespeare
Inscription on William Shakespeare's gravestone
(the language has been modernized)
These are some things that I would personally recommend reading. Not only do they have some sort of a deep social meaning, they also are either funny or very dramatic. I'm very picky, so you won't find anything boring here, trust me.

"And Then There Were None" by Eric Frank Russell
No, this isn't the link to Agatha Christie's mystery novel, but a completely separate short story all by itself. It's about 18 pages long and is definitely on my "All-Time Top 5" list. It's very funny and will be loved by the anarchists everywhere - the book is about a perfectly functioning anarchy. I, not an anarchist myself, have greatly enjoyed the story and enjoy it every time I read it over.
