05/11/01 - Hanging out, being lazy ... It's Damn Hot!!! I'm probably one of the only people not running my air conditioning. California is having an energy crisis. The rolling black outs are a bit annoying. However, I like the heat, in fact, I love it! My sort of laid back lifestyle fits in much better during a hot spell.
Speaking of hot ... This has sort of been the week from Hell for me. My Friend calls these Nancy Kerrigan moments (Why ME? Why ME?). It started with the car accident, followed by achey bones and doozey black and blue marks, and continued on with ...
Fuck You Pris ... I can't believe she behaved in such a rude, inappropriate and unfair manner. Good thing I don't take anything personally. Just makes me wonder where these idiots come from and why they are working at my place of business? And if I did have anything to do with this outburst of childish behavior, it was probably some form of wishing for a sign to confirm that I don't need people like this in my life. Too bad, so sad ... Not! Now you see why I find religious sects sort of useless? Did I see anything Christian about her behaviour? Nada. I don't take it personally. There is nothing to forgive.
I'm pretty sure this week confirms I am a survivor and anyway, things lightened up a lot as the week went on. I had a nice chat with Babs. She's sort of blunt for a Taurus. I thought only Sagitarians were blunt. She starts the chat with lugging, flem, etc. That's gross to me. She shows her concern for me and the accident by bringing up ripped aortas and clots ... Gross again. She says that's just the way she is. So be it. I thought it was cute that she said she was jealous of me having sex on a weekly basis. I told her I was very satisfied with my Sex on Saturdays. She said old married couples would balk at sex only on Saturdays ... I'm not sure about that. But I told her that our sex was not old married sex and that My Friend still lights a candle for ours. She was surprsed and asked why I had never told her about that. Lol. I'm thinking I haven't told her about a lot of stuff.
As this week nears it's end, I received some very good news. My Friend got a part in The Lamplighter's upcoming production of the Mikado. Cool! It was great news. He will make a very good Gentleman Of Japan. |
