06/30/01 - I think The Force is with me ... I'm about to experience some uninterrupted bliss. At least I think it will be bliss, I've never had it before. Well ... In bits and pieces, but this will be major. The Child and The Kid have left for Seattle with The Ex. The Child and The Ex will be gone 10 days, The Kid ... 2 months. This is unheard of, unprecedented. However will I manage? I will manage.
The Kid will be working for a friend of The Ex. The friend is a contractor with his own business. It will be heavy labor. Just what he needs. The Child is excited because he is finally getting out of California. So, I'm thinking this will be a memorable summer for all.
I need this break. I can only take so much responsibility for so many for so long. I shall eat all the humus and tabouli that I want. That's all the cooking I plan to do this week as well. And writing? Wow, just think, I can write in peace ... uninterrupted peace.
