The Secret Song

Who saw the petals drop   from the rose? I, said the spider, But nobody knows. Who saw the sunset flash   on a bird? I, said the fish, But nobody heard. Who saw the fog come   over the sea? I, said the sea pigeon, Only me. Who saw the first green   light of the sun? I, said the night owl, The only one. Who saw the moss creep   over the stone? I, said the gray fox, All alone.

If I Were a Color

If I were yellow, I would be the sun, shining down at the Earth. If I were brown, I would be a brown bear, lumbering through the forest. If I were blue, I would be a cool ocean, waiting for swimmers to come. If I were silver, I would be the moon, shimmering down at Earth. If I were red, I would be a heart on a Valentine's Day card, waiting to make someone smile. If I were orange, I would be a big juicy orange, waiting to be picked.

When we lose someone or   something we love, we sit and moan, grieve, and cry. It will not bring them back, but it will help you let them go.
