Dreamstone on the internet

When I first discovered The Dreamstone on the internet it was Nyanko's Dreamstone site I stumbled across. From there I discovered all the Dreamstone fans in the forum of that site. When I heard that there was no complete episode list on the internet in English, but only in the German, I felt a little insulted by the fact that the biggest cartoon to emerge from the U.K. was only being archived by German fans (good for them, but I expected at least one English guide!)

Dreamstone guide creation

That's what inspired me to create this guide. Hopefully now this guide is up each individual episode will be remembered. One day I hope to have covered all 52 episodes and the even if I stop updating this guide after that, there will still be a complete source of information about all 52 episodes.

Dreamstone sites

Here's links to the other 2 prominent sites for The Dreamstone currently on the internet:

Nyanko's The Dreamstone site:

Nyanko's site was the first ever Dreamstone site on the internet. It is an excellent, well put together site that has a wealth of information of the technical side of how the show was put together. All the pages are a fasinating read and it pretty much covers all the aspects of The Dreamstone cartoon series that mine doesn't.

Mike Jupp's site:

Mike Jupp is the guy who created The Dreamstone cartoon. It is through his hard work in the eighties that the Dreamstone cartoon became a reality. Visit his site to learn about his new projects, his amazing art work and also be sure to visit his forum which is the most active Dreamstone message board on the net. You'll hear about all the latest Dreamstone news there!

Tim Perkins site:

Tim Perkins worked on 4 of the 5 Dreamstone comics for London Editions and The Dreamstone annual that was published in the early 1990's by World International. He drew the covers for issues 2-5 of the comics (the issue 1 cover was created from video images taken from the TV episode) as well as content inside the comic. Tim told me he absolutely loved working on the Dreamstone comics and still looks back on it very fondly. Check out his website (www.wizards-keep.com) for more on the Dreamstone comics and his excellent art work!

Looking for Dreamstone videos?

All the Dreamstone videos that were released are now long deleted in the U.K. However they do pop up on Ebay ,an online auction site very often. You can also browse Ebay for other Dreamstone merchandise like comics, annuals and games.
