The Video Collection released a total of 5 different videos of 'The Dreamstone' and these videos covered almost all of series one, except for the final episode 'Megattack'

The most common Video collection releases are volumes 1, 2 and 3, which can be found quite easily via sites such as www.amazon.co.uk and www.ebay.co.uk, but two other videos were released which can be more tricky to find.

A thing to note about Video collections releases are that some episodes didn't run in the correct order. The episode 'Blob's incredible plan' (DS08) was released as the 3rd episode on the volume 2 video. This episode should have appeared as the 2nd episode on volume 3 instead of 'Albert is fishnapped' and 'Albert is fishnapped should have been the last episode on volume 2 instead of 'Blob's incredible plan' if they were to run in order.

Maybe it wasn't 'Video Collection' plan to release the episodes in order?, but they did stick to the correct order for the other 3 releases!

Title: The Dreamstone volume 1
Episodes: 'The Dreamstone opening special'* and DS03 'The Knitted balloon'
Released: 1990
Video deleted?: Since 14th December 1994
Notes: *The opening special is the first two episodes of The Dreamstone. Later on the special was split in half and aired on TV as the two seperate episodes DS01 'The Dreamstone' and DS02 'Into viltheed' The best copy to own is the video special version as around 3 minutes was cut from DS01 'The Dreamstone' The reason for this was so the episode would be the normal 22 minutes long like the others.

Title: The Dreamstone volume 2
Episodes: DS04 'Invisible Blob', DS05 'Voice of Zordrak' and DS08 'Blob's incredible plan'*
Released: 5th November 1990
Video deleted?: Since 14th December 1994
Notes: *Blob's incredible plan is episode 8 so some episodes were not released in order by Video collection. This episode should have appeared on volume 3 instead of 'Albert is fishnapped' to be in the correct order.

Title: The Dreamstone volume 3
Episodes: DS07 'The Shrinking stone' DS06 'Albert is fishnapped'* and DS09 'Too hot to handle'
Released: 19th August 1991
Video deleted?: Since 14th December 1994
Notes: *The episode 'Blob's incredible plan' should have appeared on this video instead of 'Albert is fishnapped'. 'Albert is fishnapped' should have been the last episode on volume 2 for the episodes to run in the correct order.
