These are the rules and guidelines for the first competition:
The competition began:
Monday, 7th October
*Dream Weavers have to write a short story/scene.
*Everyone (anonymously) votes which one is the best.
*There has to be a minimum amount of interaction between the partners of at least once a week, so one person doesn't do all the work; this is unless the partners come to some other agreement.
*Each entry must be 2000-3000 words.
*There are a number of categories to choose from:
- Though this is just for fun, the best story will be highlighted here, on the Dream Weavers website front page, and any other websites that want to help promote fanfic (yours included if you have one).
Most people on the boards are used to fanfic. Since this is the first 'competition' we're having, it is a fanfic competition.
You may write about a band or famous person or popular fictional character.
e.g.
You can either create a new character and add them into the story, continuing the story, or change an already-existing storyline to fit your character in.
OR
You may write from the viewpoint of one of the already existing characters, e.g. Storm in X-Men.
The stories have to be finished approximately 4 January 2003.
