When I Die

Bury me with books
with pens and pencils
with jokes and laughter
take joy at my funeral.

Do not mourn for me:
weeping cannot bring me back
nor bring me comfort now,
be happy when I'm gone.

Laugh, drink whisky,
dance wildly at the wake.
Eat 'till you're sick,
enjoy yourselves totally.

Remember me or forget me--
whatever you want to do
I won't mind, believe me
just have a great time.
