Dresden Woman Elopes With Gypsy

Outraged Husband Is Hot On The Trail of Dusky Band Who Visited This Vicinity Recently --
Authorities Are Notified To Be On The Lookout.

Becoming infatuated with a young gypsy who visited her home to tell her fortune about two weeks ago, Mrs. George Busico, a Russian woman of Dresden, eloped with the gypsy and accompanied his band when they left Muskingum's northern metropolis.

Now the outraged husband is hot on the trail and he appeated to the Columbus police Thursday morning for aid in locating his wife. Busico told the police that when his wife left home with the Romany wanderer, she took her two children along, and now he's triply bereaved.

The Columbus authorities, believing that the band had passed through Columbus, telephoned the London (Ohio) authorities to be on the lookout, as the "rovers" are headed in that direction.

Inquiry at Dresden brought out the information that Buisco is probably one of the foreign colony, the members of which were employed at the sheet mill. When that industry closed down some days ago the foreigners left. Another band of gypsies was in the neighborhood several days ago, but it was stated that the Russian woman probably went away with the gypsies who visited that locality two weeks ago.
