An Eye for a Tooth
Bob and Stuart had been rival inventors since they were kids. Bob, the nerdy one, was always the foil of Stuart, the jock’s, nasty sense of humor. Married to sisters, the men forged a partnership to market and sell a wrench Stuart had invented. They make a tidy profit selling the rights outright to another company, but when that company turns the wrench into the hottest selling product in infomercial history, each blames the other for selling out too cheap. They are each determined to invent the next big seller and have a host of hilarious, practical and not-so-practical inventions in the works. When the man who turned their wrench into the success it is comes to town, the two get involved in a wild game of one-upmanship that soon gets out of control. The families get involved, and it’s all out war. An Eye for a Tooth examines two men’s idea of “getting even”, taken to the comedy extreme. |
