Anthony, Carissa, and Dario are roommates and Hollywood hopefuls in this examination of the joys and pains of being a struggling actor in Los Angeles. Anthony is brilliantly talented but uncompromising. He meets and falls for Trish, a studio attorney who has absolutely no interest in wannabes, but finds his charm hard to resist. Carissa is beautiful, but only has limited talent. She reluctantly learns that there are other ways to get ahead in acting besides talent. Dario is tall, dark, handsome, and very willing to compromise. The story follows their ups and downs as they learn the ropes of Hollywood the hard way. Nobody becomes a big star, but there’s a happy ending none the less. |
