Inside Barry Baxter
Barry Baxter loves comic books. He works for a comic book company and has secret fantasies of being a comic book superhero. Barry is a dreamer. He lives with his crotchety old grandmother Berta Bernstein, who manages to discourage any of Barry’s possible romantic interests, so he’s very lonely. He spends his time with his comics, and developing his own characters that emerge from his dreams. There are a number of animated “dream” sequences to illustrate this. Victor Von Stratten is an international business mogul. He is as different from Barry Baxter as two men can be. As chairman of the board of the parent company that owns Barry’s comic book company. Victor has a problem, there’s a spy somewhere in the organization, and all leads point to Barry! In a comic case of mistaken identity, Barry becomes involved in the middle of an international crisis worthy of a true superhero.
